My Journey In Finding and Banking Off Clients (2017)

I'm in a few active projects right now, but the majority (probably all) of them are all long term. I'll probably need to work for 2-3 more months until I start seeing the real money flow in, but I want to start making money now.

This is why I decided to work on a business that deals with clients, so that I can start receiving monthly income from the moment I find a client, so that I don't have to rely on organic traffic for my 4% Amazon Affiliate commissions, but rather receive money monthly in the thousands.

Yes, this niche is VERY crowded and doing SEO for clients is something that isn't new. However, I already have a lot of businesses in my area (my parents own one) that I know needs SEO and other services such as social media marketing. I know that I can get a $300-$500/month client in the first month I start this business, and I can do some work for my parents food business to have a legit testimonial.

This journey isn't mostly about the money, but for the sake of experience in this field. I haven't really done much of SEO for clients before and I have never owned anything that deals with clients, so I hope that with this, I can gain a ton of experience.

What I will be doing:
- Creating a site that looks appealing with graphics and statistics to make me seem legit and trustworthy.
- As I am 15, I do sound like a teenager, so doing live calls may be hard. If possible, I will try and do all communication via email. However, if they do request a live call, I will do so, with the warning that age is just a number that is in the head and that I can do the same work an adult can do.


What will I be using:
- For SEO, I will be using a SEO network that I trust. Yes, using someone else's network is risky, especially for a client's site, but I will be using the network that I use with my main money site, as this network has low OBL and uses very authority domains. I am expecting a huge margin on this, as the links cost monthly and the client would be paying monthly as well. If the client wants to stop, I just stop using the post.
- For social media, I will use a bot with the safest settings, so that they can see results and followers while being safe as well. If they want sales and need help with ads, then that is easy, as I can do so and make ad copies very easily.

Goals:
- Have at least 5 clients paying monthly (doesn't matter how much they pay, as long as I have clients to work and gain experience from.)
- Grow a team and have teach my friends to work for me for experience and money. I want to get my friends into IM and help them a bit more, as they are just stuck on video games...

Its pretty new and he started his social media marketing agency doing web design, social media posting, ads, etc. He's following the tai lopez course
He doesn't do cold calls but he goes into the place. But you could probably get some ideas from him. You can see what his website is like and what other services you can upsell along side SEO.

I think you should definitely call leads instead of emailing. It might not hit their inbox, they might not open it, and it's really hard to sell them $500-$5000 through email. They don't have to know your age as they wont see you if you call them.

Looking for a domain & company name now. Here's the question. Should I go for a domain with marketing, growth, seo in it? Or should I go for anything? Honestly, I don't really think that the name matters because look at Yahoo, Quora, Google, etc. I know that my site isn't going to be as big as theirs and I'm doing it on the side, but would it really matter in the end?

What is your suggestion? Go for domain with marketing, growth, seo in it or just choose a brandable one?

Finding clients willing to invest 200$+ monthly into SEO isn't as easy as you may think it is, 100$ is one thing but 200$+ per client isn't that easy unless you go for bigger companies, and some very big companies will even be willing to pay up to 1000$ / monthly.

My question is though, would you be willing to share with me your network? I may try something similar soon.

What type of businesses will you be targetting? Restaurants and shit?

Thanks, will look at his channel as well for some new ideas to add to my twists! Also, I of course won't tell them my age, but the question might come naturally due to my voice not being really "old." Most people can tell I'm a teen (I've asked) so that is my main concern. I also have call anxiety, so it might be a bit hard. It is a skill that I WILL master, so it'll take some time, but I'll eventually get it. Cold calling isn't something I prefer, but I know I'll have to get to it one day.

Yup, I know that finding businesses willing to invest $200+ monthly into SEO is hard, but the thing here is, I'll be targeting businesses that I know has money to spare and has potential to increase revenue with my service. Business owners will go for anything with positive ROI, so I will generate my reports that are focused towards ROI.

I'll probably pay around $50 or so in links which is probably more than enough to rank their business or restaurant for keywords such as "food category + city", while asking for $100+, which is why I think the ROI is more than enough. I don't have to do anything more if they are ranking #1, since I will be paying for the links monthly and the business paying me monthly. Basically autopilot.

I can't share the network due to security reasons for now, but I'll PM you about it when they come to BHW.

I live in San Diego and there are a good amount of businesses I can target here, and people spend a decent amount of money here as well in promotion so I'm sure that I'll be able to pick up a few clients this month.

May I ask what country you live in?

Local seo is so easy dont think your need any special seo service or network ...

Getting the domain for each business might be a problam , that the only problam i see, tell the truth ...

I'd have to target the big cities and I doubt It'd be that easy to rank them for keywords in the big cities

If they don't have a domain, that's more money to be milked out of them. I can give them a full blown job, website creation, promotion, etc.

Glad to meet another youngster. But as I said before, age doesn't really play a role in IM other than giving you more opportunities before you have to take care of a family, etc.

Yea, I feel extremely lucky to have found this forum and to have connected with several members in which I learned a ton from. Before, I was playing games all day and not being productive, but now I have something to look forward to each day, and actually spending my time in something that could potentially affect my future.

I personally am going to purchase them from a link provider, but I recommend that you build your own PBN network if you have the funds to do so, as it will pay off a lot better later on. You also get more control over your network. However, I am a lot more interested in the monthly payment method, as if my client ever decides to cancel, I can cancel the subscription I have with the link provider.

Note: Please do not ask about the link provider, as that isn't something that I created this thread about. I don't want to promote a service through a journey like this. You can use any link provider you want, just make sure to use a service that is trustworthy and something you would use for your own sites, as you don't want to damage your client's sites.
