Update
Going to do the updates every other day to go out when I push out an article.
Content Update
Another 1.5k word post pushed out. Taking around an hour now as I have a clear template and voice to text really does help. Have probably written around 112,000 words for the blog now. That's quite a lot!
Traffic Update
Continued slow and steady increases. Up 400 users since the last report. I expect it to stabilize at around 5k users a month, depending on if daily users stay the same.
Adsense Update
Still waiting for approval. I'm certain that I will receive it as it is a very SFW topic and has plenty of content. I Will update you when I do.

All going well. Some articles that I wrote months ago are now appearing on the front page, which is very good.

Still moving up! At around 200 vistors a day now. So we should be at 6.2k vistors a month. Semrush projects me at 7.1k a month. The march to 10k continues upwards.

Hey bro I just want to ask if what kind of articles you write? Are you writing the articles that have not been written before? Like quora questions? Anytips? because I will also be posting my journey on January. Nice journey btw 
Interesting journey. I don't have a writer mindset so I'd love to have you to elaborate me on some questions:
1.From what I read, you'd do kw research before writing an article. What metric are you looking for? (like traffic, keyword difficulty)
2. Do you put several long tail kw into your article?
3. Do you put exact keyword or long tail kw into the title & slug

I have experience in the niche which helps. I've joined various Facebook groups related to the niche and look at what people ask. I then Google it, and see the major competitors. Then I run it through Semrush and see where the gaps are. By now though, I am able to compete well with some of the larger competitors due to the growth of my site. Good luck! Just keep going. I was going to quit early on (around the big dip in the picture) but saw sense. Now it's going much better.
1. Mostly keyword difficulty. Some keywords that Semrush told me don't have much volume have given me a lot more volume than it predicts.
2. Yes. I can't go into too much detail but I often include a Q&A section at the end where I add some of the lower volume keywords that are related to the article.
3. I use the long-tail keywords. No idea if it is the right thing to do, but it works for me.

Another article written. All normal.
Visitor Update:
Another big surge in numbers from last time. We are getting close to the original big one day spike that I had last year. Semrush is putting me at 7.8k visitors. Presuming that this continues, which we obviously cannot presume, then I should hit my 10k target a few months early.
I have some articles related to Christmas, so I expect another big surge in a few days.

I was the exact same as you but in ecom, messing with unnecessary things is the main time killer for me. I am still trying to fix that bad habit. One of the best lessons if I could learn it earlier.^ this is me
It has taken me years to learn that all you need to do is get it OK and live. I spent far too long making tiny adjustments so that my sites were aesthetically pleasing, and wasted time, subsequently losing income because of 'trying to make it look good'.
I came to the conclusion that the general buyer will not even notice those small details, all they want is the info and the product! Only people like you and I care, and we are not buying!
Concentrate on getting your content up, as it is going to take a while to rank, then go back to the design when you are waiting.
As soon as I got my head working this way, I made way more money.
Looking forward to seeing how you get on and wish you all the best.

In general - Just writing. Writing, writing, writing. Did a few manual backlinks, even got a spot on a big subreddit, but it was the writing that is helping me to achieve right now.

Money is money. But I am hoping that this optimises soon. May have to branch out into Amazon as well if not.

Update! First, the usual stats...
All looking good here imo.
Wrote another article, and have changed the layout of ads in the site. No more sidebar ads, they are now in the middle of the article. I get 80% of traffic on mobile so I have optimised it for mobile especially. Considering other routes of income, such as adding relevant Amazon products and beginning review articles. Beginning to consider buying some good backlinks.
