My facebook money making idea!

I made a blogger site called "Help those in Need". There is a short description about how part of the money raised will go to charities. The site explains how people can help out by completing one a short survey.Then, there is a link on the side which takes them to my ******* survey. Next, I plan to send an invite to lots of people on facebook, telling them that they can "make a difference" by inviting all of their friends as well. Any way that I could make the group with a fake account, then send invites to tons of random people?

Unless you're actually donating to charity, don't you feel that this is pretty immoral?

I mean there's blackhat, and then there's this. Using the name of those in need to profit is a damn sight shady.
 
I am donating like 25%. But I can still make some money!
 
Anyone else done something like this before? Did you have any success? I'm not very good with this kind of stuff yet...
 
If you ACTUALLY donate some of it back to charity and the Kids or people in need then I'd say it can be considered black hat But still a bit F*cked up. But you gotta do what you gotta do to make money. I personally haven't tried this. So Good luck
 
Yeah I personally wouldn't do this, I don't mind profiting from peoples trivial problems but this is a step to far for me.
 
I think the idea of fake account is good.
You can try this.
That will work for you.
 
I dont think this is such a good idea. BH does not mean you f*** with karma.
 
Its fucked up dude... unless your doing it to help those people and you only take out cash to cover your cost (hosting etc.) and give like 75%...

But hey ho.... just my 2 cents.

make sure you cover your ass... one disgruntled person and they will do a search on your charity. you aren't a registered charity, regardless of if you promise to donate it.

Clear case of fraud to me.
 
And ppl will stop donating to online charities because of scams like this

there are so many other ways to make money from facebook other than this one
 
You wont can sleep well. There are a lot of other methods. It isnt blackhat, it is a scam.
 
most charity is scams
and they keep most of the cash themselves
They use it to live like lords with big cars big houses and stuff like that/
if youre loaded and you really wanna help people in need , first of all help everyone around you .
Then go to a poor country yourself and personally hook some people up instead of just doing a bank transfer to some organization

I agree completely. Back when we I was in the student council at uni, we raised funds, bought food and stuff, then went and delivered it by hand to the people directly using it for this same exact reason. Sure enough we got depressed for a month, but at least this way we made sure our money didn't buy some rich kid a new ps3 and a home theater.


Back to the OP, I too have to agree with everyone else and try and talk you out of doing this. Making money online is not easy, its hard, we know. Resorting to blackhat methods without harming anyone is completely understandable, but this is just pure fraud.

I hope for the sake of you and your family that you refrain from doing this. Money earned (or stolen, somewhat) this way is only going to bring in bad karma and you'll definitely feel its wrath sooner or later.
 
man ...were you like...sober when you thought of that? not only that is immoral but stincks like scam from a mile away
