Hi, among other things I’m a song writer. Been at it for years. I’ve got an impressive catalogue. So I’m thinking of monetizing this skill and maybe become a professional song writer.
But I don’t have the other skills to put my music out there i.e production and promotion. So I’m looking for a partner(s) that can handle production (beats, mixing, mastering et al) and can also monetize our works online through streaming and other methods at your disposal.
Here’s what I’m bringing in, I can write across multiple genres. I started out with rap and that has influenced my writing in other genres. I write proper and worded lyrics and not just boom boom boom, bam bam bam x30. I can write rap, RnB, Afro beats. Never tried country tho, but I’m open to it. I’ve never really seen myself as a recording artist, but if you don’t have someone that can record on your team, I can record some of them as well (I’ve been told I got a good voice). To confirm my skill, once we agree on preliminaries, you can give me some a theme and keywords and I’ll write a song for you to judge.
What I need from the partner: Production and monetizing skills. I’ll need you to give me tips on what you feel makes for songs that perform well based on your experience. Theme, length, style, genre etc. I’ll also like to see proof of what you can do and have done.
We can discuss profit sharing, I don’t have anything in mind for now.
