his test: yes, same site sending multiple links to you gives you a better ranking, then just getting 1 link from that site.

one thing,theme creater put their backlink in footer,so they get sitewide backlinks,will it be valid backlinks then with authority?
 
sorry just use 1 backlink per website make things easier and more powerful.

only ever use good da and trust and clean backlinks.

using more then 1 link from same website dilotes the power

Well those links boost the DR/DA for sure. :D Rankings? Well, doesn't hurt, but are not much powerful that normal links.
