Multiple backlinks from same site

Hello BHW members

In the process of a backlinking campaign, one of the sites that I outreached to is a big one.

Basically, they offer around 3 do-follow backlinks for the guest-post.

I thought 3 backlinks to my site coming from the same article might seem suspicious to Google, so I figured I can spread them across different articles in their blog.

• 1 backlink in a fresh-new article written by me
• 1 backlink from an existent article N#2 in their blog (link insertion)
• 1 backlink from an existent article N#3 in their blog (link insertion)

All these links will be added within the same week or so.

Knowing that, is this practice safe to pursue? This is the first time that I try to acquire multiple backlinks from the same site.

No need to worry it's safe unless that site has high Spam score and bad reputation.

I have never seen a site where "number of backlinks" = "number of referring domains".

It's perfectly normal to have multiple links from the same site. In here, you can actually link to different articles.

1 backlink from 1 website (RD) is enough. If you buy 3 links from 1 website there is only 1 winner: the website (because it will charge you for 3 articles instead of 1).

Now, if also buy a niche edit on an aged article that ranks and gets traffic, a portion of that traffic might click through on your link and visit your site, so it might make sense to buy this 2nd link for the traffic alone, but in terms of SEO 2 backlinks from the same website won't help you much

As far as I know it's not something to worry about, but getting 3 links from 3 different websites with the same authority will pass more juice than 3 links from 1 single website.

Your observation is on point, what you said makes perfect sense!!

The number of total backlinks currently is (3/1) 3 times more than my referring domains, however, I let the additional links from the same domains be taken care of by those spammy sites that link to me with my consent.

So for the manual backlink acquisition, I only focus on 1 link per domain, except for this case.

I agree with you, unfortunately, that is their offer, I can't choose just one link to reduce the price. The price will be the same.

So, don't you think there is a positive aspect to that, since I'll be linking each link to a different money-page in my blog, wouldn't that help with 3 pages at once?

And yes, I'll make sure that those pages have already some traffic.

oh yeah, that might be different. I thought you were going to point all 3 links to the same page. And since "3 or none" is their offer... I guess you can't do much about it anyway. Just go with it!

It's absolutely fine. Whenever you're doubtful, you should check if such a thing happens naturally. The webmaster found your site to be informative and linked to your content. It sounds perfectly natural and happens with many websites. So, there is nothing to be worried about.

I'd like to follow up by asking, how Google favors the first crawled link among the 3. Does it get the most link juice of the three? Is that how it works? By priority of date?
