Hey guys, I am starting a new website that will sell Amazon products.

What do you think are the most important things and on what should I pay my attention the most?

Also, what theme do you suggest for something like this? I used Thrive Themes but I don't know now.

I will make a new thread with my journey in a couple of days so you can see me hitting my goal.

There is an Amazion Affliate Wordpress Theme available. I think that would be perfect for beginners like you. You can also checkout Authority Azon or Zeno. These themes are perfect for Amazon products. Hope this helps and good luck on your new website!

Probably, you should pay attention to mobile version and usability of your site. Also, links and content optimization are really important
And try to find sites that your target audience visits and that can bring traffic to your website

Thank you for this. Yes, a lot of people is searching what they want on phone nowadays.

What do you think is the best way to build links? Just keep in mind that I don't have enough money right now to build my own PBN.

However, I have a lot of time.

You can search for relevant niche blogs/forums and leave links there. Also, there are many free directories or classifieds where you can register your "business" profile with a link to your site. Although these sites usually don't have a high authority.
If you have enough time, you can try outreach (As some blog owners are ready to post your article with a link for free). Just write a good article and then find niche blogs where you can guest post/contribute material.

One thing that most people here underestimate is anchor text ratio. If you screw that one up, it would be very hard to get your site back from overoptimization. It's best to forget about exact and partial match anchors completely, until you have some decent backlink profile in place.
