I check RevenueHits, but I didn't like the banners they had and I'm not planning on using pop ads, pop unders at this moment. I also applied for Adversal (another alternative to google) and they refused my application without mentioning the reason why. And now I'm thinking about using Propellerads.
Get a shopify account, get a domain related to niche, point shopify at the domain, get oberlo for shopify (it's an app addon) which lets you import whatever products you'd like onto shopify, changes price automatically if you want. when you sell items on shopify there's a button on oberlo that auto buys it and ships it through your aliexpress account, its really neat, I got an $80 sale the other day marked up from like $5 worth of items, that's kind of brief but if you want more help dm me

Propeller ads are great but with your traffic the only thing they will give you access to are interstitial ads, popup ads, and direct ads. The banners they offer are only for sites averaging 10k visits a day. I would recommend going for adnow they are a ad company kind of like revcontent but like propeller revcontent only works with 10k+ trafffic. Adnow offers widgets that you see on other sites in your niche a big rectangle with clickbait kind of titles like "you wont believe where she ended up" "top 10 reasons etc" things like this. I started my anime site a few months ago as well right now I am using propeller pop ads, propeller direct ads, ubercpm banners, and adnow widgets. Propeller pop ads are not as bad as they seem you can actually contact propeller support and configure your pop ad so that it isn't as invasive. Once I have enough traffic I plan on only using propeller ads and revcontent widgets. I was also scared to use popads and scare off my users, but keep the popups to a certain interval and not incredibly annoying and I didnt lose any traffic

I only take embed codes from other websites and forum, they pretty much do the same most of them only a few do the upload, you can just look for websites of anime and you will find the embed codes there. Good luck
