Monetized Youtube channel & Adsense account

Hi guys!
I purchased a monetized channel here on the BHW Marketplace just a few weeks ago.
The channel is in good standing and after the purchase, I updated the login details and started to familarize with the channel settings.
I was pretty excited in the beginning, but I soon got stuck into the adsense account creation.
Basically, if I go in to the monetization settings - adsense settings, I get the following warning:

"Close your other account"
"We see that you also have another AdSense account. We only allow one account per person. To use this account, please close the other one."

That account creation date was Dec. 30.
I suppose the seller had to create that adsense account in order to get the channel monetized, but now how should I proceed to be able to monetize myself?
Should I delete the existing one and apply for a new one?

Did you consult with the seller about this, Cant he just apply for partnership with the same email or am I missing something here?

You have to first remove the existing adsense account. Once removed, you can then add in your new adsense account.

Seller is unresponsive since a few days after the purchase. I tried to ask for clarifications, but didn't get any reply even if he regularly update his threads.

No no.. do not cancel your adsense. Why would you want to do it? Refer to https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7367146?hl=en

I followed the instructions. When click on Associated AdSense account -> Change I am asked to select a Google account. If I select the account I've purchased (the monetized Youtube channel to be clear), I get the following error:
"We see that you also have another AdSense account. We only allow one account per person. To use this account, please close the other one."

Otherwise I tried to select another Gmail account (a personal account that I use only for email) and I'm asked to sign up to Adsense.
On the "Your website" section there's the Youtube channel name.
On the "Get more out of Adsense" I can chose "Yes, send me customized help and performance suggestions" or "No, don't send me customized help and performance suggestions"
Then I have to select my country
Finally, I have to accept the Terms and Conditions and then I can click on "Create Account"

Should I proceed with this last option and create an Adsense account associated to my personal Gmail account?
If I do so, will I have to undergo an approval procedure or, as the Youtube channel is already monetized it'll be automatically approved? How long will it take?

I did the same thing today,added my own Adsense account to a purchased account.
Try and log into your adsense account and invite your new email (youtube account) to join your adsense.
After you confirm the acceptance email your new youtube channel should have your adsense account.

Did you already have an adsense account before buying the youtube channel? Cause I don't my own adsense account. I have read that the only way to get approved is to have a Youtube channel with 1k subs and 4k hours watch time or to have a website at least 2 months old with original content. I don't have clear yet how to create my won adsense account without having to wait indefinitely

You have to delete the other account open a new one and link the channel dont delete it directly from adsense you can delete the account from google settings in your google account setting search videos on youtube how to delete adsense account in google account settings you will se it

The fact that I don't already have an adsense account, does require a new approval if I sign up for a new adsense account? How long doess it take?
Will I lose monetization on the Youtube channel if I remove the current adsense account?

Hey guys, I'm still stuck. Seller keeps being unresponsive. Can anyone help me out?
I still have to understand if I have to create a new adsense account or ask Google to remove the double one that I'm warned about when I try to log in to the adsense account that came with the monetized Youtube channel I purchased. If I have to create a new one, should I undergo the approval process? How long does it take?
None of you guys has bought a monetized Youtube channel from the Marketplace without having your own adsense account already? How did you do?

Log out all your google accounts (youtube, gmail ect.. and restart pc then try to log in again

Thanks for your reply. I tried, but it didn't help. Did you get a monetized Youtube account? How did you create your own adsense account?

I think sellers not remove your channel in his adsense account.

Your channel is LOST, this is a well known problem, once 2 adsense account get linked, channel get demonetized and you CAN'T close one of them

If you bought your channel here,you can get your money back be opening a shit list against your seller , go to the shitlist section and open a dspute against him

Who is your seller ?

I can confirm that your channel is lost,I get this problem many times when I tried to monetize multiple youtube channel, this problem make me lost a lot of monetized channeI in the past ( about 40)
I contacted google about it and they ask me for the ID of the adsense account in order to close it ,but you can't access this ID if your account is blocked
Have multiple adsense account is against google policy

I have 2 adsense accounts and I created it years ago by me only, I only use 1 account and the other is for my backup just in case they will ban me. Right now I use it for grayhat niches only to be safe. I advice anyone here just make your own adsense account just use your friends, bro or sisters address and your good to go.

You can buy a new Adsense account and link it to the YT monetized channel, in the new Adsense you should change the name and address with your real info. There are sellers here on BHW who sell Adsense.

Thanks guys for your replies.
No end to surprises. The channel has been demonetized. I've received a notice from Youtube, saying that the content that came with the channel I bougth was reposted and not original and the views were not genuine.
What should I do now? Where did you get your monetized channels guys? Or in your opinion I should better start one from scratch and monetize it?
On the thread where I purchased the channel I noticed that several people are starting to get upset with seller as their channels have been demonetized too.
