Hello friends,

I was looking to copy a file from my windows VPS to my Mac Book earlier today and it wouldnt work. I use my VPS for Jarvee and was trying to move some information I had scraped in order to use it in excel. I ended up finding a nice easy way to do it creating a shared folder between my VPS and Mac and thought id share in case anyone has encountered the same problem!

1. Create a folder on the desktop (or your preferred location) of your MacBook
2. Then open up the start menu for your Remote Desktop, select your desired VPS and click "edit"
3. Go to the "Redirection" Tab, click "enable folder redirection", click the + button and then browse to find the folder you had created earlier

4. Once you find the folder select it, click ok, close your edit screen and then quit the Remote desktop all together
5. Now open your Remote Desktop again and login to your VPS, you will be prompted with the message below, simply click connect

6. After youve logged in, click the "My PC" icon and you will see your folder under the "Devices and Drives" header

Now you will be able to drag and drop files between both Desktops with ease!

Hope this helps, Cheers :D
