Great thread - quick question - can you provide a template on how you write the caption for the pins.

e.x ---- Content, content, content, hashtag
or content + hashtag

It differs from product to product. Most of the things I pin drag across some info and then I edit and add to it with hashtags and that's about it. It's just common sense. You dont want a huge long description, Just a few words and two or three hashtags. It's all about the hashtags. and pinning in large numbers. That's the only benefit to this method. and the benefit comes down the line not over night.

Do you pay for Tailwind? How do you auto pin? I can only see options to Schedule and you get a max of 30 for the trial

Yes and no. I pay for some of my accounts and I still have some that were set up free for me when I was promoting it back in the day. When you say auto pin what do you mean? if you want to set up pins to go out there and then do it on Pinterest. If you want to schedule them use a tool like Tailwind.

You might be able to find a more cost effective solution compared to Tailwind. That is just what I use personally.

Do you use proxies on your second account with group boards? Or do you just do it on the same IP as your main account?

Do mix in repins from other accounts to not seem fishy? Or could I just repin pins from my main account on my second account and not worry about pinning any other accounts content?

As was suggested you should read the whole thread, and maybe some of the others I started about Pinterest.

he is using the same ip. never been using any proxy/sox

will be great to read all this 9 pages before asking a question !

;)

sometimes but ever since using tailwind i have not had to bother. I just set up the pins and then when i have another client i shuffle the pins so it's all randomized anyway. I dont normally bother with repins i just use my accounts to create new pins every time using the app.

@William702 great topic

I am starting your strategy... we will see if I will get some good results.
If yes - I will write here comment ;)

Thank you

Hi, I found this thread from your AMA thread..

Quick question, why use only 3 hashtags?

Thank you..

Nice share, useful for me, Will try it :)

My pleasure, glad it helped.

If you use too many it will look like spam. it's not normal to have dozens of hashtags in a post. You want everything to be copacetic.

Does it matter if you get repins from those SMM websites or bots?

I would imagine it would be a detriment. I have never used them, those sites are filled with crappy accounts that could get your account red flagged. If Pinterest see your pins and account on those sites what do you think they will do?

Are you using the "professional tailwind" option of $ 799? , because I see that the option plus $ 15 a month, only allows you to program 400 post per month.
I did not understand if they only allow you to program 400 post per month for 1 single account or 400 per account.

I have answered this question several time in the threads I started about Pinterest. Tailwind could have very well changed the prices on things since I signed up. I also have a lot of accounts that I didn't even need to pay for with full rights so I have never needed to look into it. If you can find a tool that does what tailwind does for less money I would suggest using it.

Tailwind is like Waitrose, you could probably get the same stuff at Walmart for a lot less lol,

Hey @William702 really nice idea and really want to do it because my niche is for women and I think pinterest is for women for sure.

Having little confusions so can you please clear them out : -

1) Inflate Pins(Don't repin the same pin in other boards) which means you have to create new pin with a new link (same domain etsy, amazon) and use that for the boards?

2) Does follow for follow still works means if I'll follow 300 people a day so can I have 100 followers back?

3) Should I use the original account which is intacted with everything or I should test it first on new account.(because I'm new to pinterest)

4) Should I go for paid marketing on pinterest because I do have good sales on etsy and I want to increase it more so please suggest.

Thanks for the ultimate guide and I've read all of it but still got some confusions and I asked them in this post.
