Join Mobidea - they are a good network and have a lot of offers you can try. Once you've joined there and been accepted, post back here.

I'm with Avazu, Clickdealer, Kimia, Mobidea, Mobusi, Mundo Media, Monetizer, YeahMobi, YTZ and Zinq.

I run quite a few verticals.

I just joined Mobidea, what vertical you recommend me to start with ? I need to apply each of them

Sweepstakes you need a landing page.

I think the best way to begin with all this is understanding geos + traffic + campaign optimisation. I would start direct linking (you can make money with this) some offers for tier 3 geo countries.

For Adult content offers run much better with banner traffic (traffic juncky, reporo or exoclick etc...) South East Asia, MENA countries and Africa are the best geos for these. But you will need to learn how to make banner (or rip from adplexity adult).
Games you can run without a landing page, they usually work as they are.
Sweeps need a landing page.

Tip: Pick one niche and pick the 5 top offers, using Mobidea filter, by revenue in a single country and run these as a first test. Don't pick offers with a payout >$1 or you will burn your budget pretty quickly before getting enough data to work with to optimize with.

I checked some of the offers in mobidea for my home country and damn these translates are bad.

another thing i was wondering have tried promoting health products i mean something like diet pills. What do you recon how would they perform?

Spy tools are good as they show you which successful campaigns are being run, the traffic sources (to an extent) and the offers.

Diet pills won't work - you need carrier billing. I would suggest native ads for diet/nutra.

Hey Sephrata, are those the landing pages you are using in particular? I don't think Mobidea allows misleading advertising like saying "You are infected with a virus". Are you using a CPA network that allow advertisements like these? Thank you! I'd PM you for questions specified to you if I can but there doesn't seem to be an option, maybe it's because I have too little activity on my account so far...

Awesome information from both @Loyal0 and @Sephrata! I've spent the last two days learning a lot from this thread, and doing my own research.

Why are you guys sharing this valuable info? Won't it just add to your competition? (Also, why does mobidea have a full tutorial? Shouldn't they just buy their own traffic and bank? I'm guessing these platforms collect the data from winning campaigns and use it themselves. )

Regardless, I am very grateful for the value you have offered.

Two quick questions, if you have the time.

1. Are you only focused on mobile here? Would it work for desktop as well? I have heard in the past that mobile traffic converts very poorly because there are a lot of misclicks, etc...

2. Assuming a healthy budget $1-2k, persistence, and a little luck, how long would it take to find a profitable campaign to scale? Do you remember how long it took you?

I'm not too crazy about doing anti-virus and other spammy stuff long term, but I know I could learn a lot about paid traffic, split testing, etc from this that would be valuable in my other businesses.

I love the mindset of 'not losing money... only buying data and experience'. I hope that can get me through the tough learning curve.

I'll definitely report back to this thread once I have taken real action. For now I have just been reading and signing up for networks, hosting, etc...
