I would focus on testing GEO and working landing pages, in a lesser extent what offer works best.
Campaigns without landing pages are a waste of money imo, I wouldn't try that as a beginner. I understand it can be tempting do so though because of starting a campaign and plating around!
What do you mean by catchy vs aggressive? Aggressive with javascript tricks, and "catchy" without?
catchy like "you won iphone", "answer correct to this three questions and you will get new iphone", "only 3 left", "regular price, your price: 0$", limited offer countdown
yes, aggressive with popup on entry, on exit, whole popup clickable and disabled back button, also sound alert and scaring with "you have three viruses that can destroy your device and sim card"
some offers on mobidea are strict: "you can use only material we provided" and that's their banner in different dimensions, for example for some brazil pin submit sweep offers with good epc and conversion ratio, so I can't do much on landing page, I will try A/B with landing page and without ... I'm waiting for them to approve my links for some offers
