This method will not work for anyone who isn't willing to get creepily specific with who they are targeting with their ads.

Things this method does NOT include:
Facebook.
Google.
Bing.
Names of the Ad networks used. You have google. You can find them.
Any traditional Ad network talked about here.

Things included in this post:
A general talk through of how this works.
Real world example using Baby niche. (no screen shots due to my own lack of care about doing so. Believe me or don't it's up to you.)

We are here to capitalize on the needs of others and the wants of others. Thats what IM is in a nutshell so lets talk about how we can tap into a large data pool that I have no seen talked about here.
Data brokers.

What is a data broker?

I'm glad you asked. A data broker is the creepy cross site cookie collector that sells your data to marketers and the reason targeted ads even exist. Yes google and facebook do this for us but the sources I'm talking about will send you all the data they have on your provided demographics for a small fee and some even offer to advertise to them directly for you.

How can we leverage this data source for our own means?

With how specific we can be with these data sets we can target to a neighbor hood in a city, yes that dialed in.
So lets throw up a quick store on shopify, say its in the Baby niche, and say I made this whole things in a matter of 4 hours using a few suppliers for the US that promise 1 week delivery.
Now my demographics are Pregnant or have a child less than year old. Makes 50-100k/year, is known to make impulse purchases, female, and lives in an area with little to no crime(many of these people have no threat perception due to their surrounds ALWAYS being safe).
Now I was lucky enough to go with a data broker that also offers direct advertisements via banner ads.
Loaded up $50 worth of ad budget into their online portal, they collect data for a living they will know who you are or have a good idea of it even if you try to hide it.

Then I waited a week. In that time I was able to secure 4 crib sales, which my margin was ~$70 each.

Expenses:
Free trial of shopify $30 afterwards(I didn't pay this I canceled it)
$10 Domain name
$75 Data broker data fee
$50 Ads (5 ads 3 of which were sale generating)
TOTAL: $135

Profits:
$280 profit margin from sales
-$135 from above
$145 Total profit from a week.

While thats nothing AMAZING it does make me want to take a deeper dive into drop shipping as a whole using a data brokerage firm rather than facebook and google ads. I spent a lot less time setting this up than I have in the past for drop shipping, and I have FAILED at drop shipping using facebook and google.

Nice share mate thanks but you have to scale to be sure if this realy works

Can you give some examples of data brokers or how to find them?

Amazing.
Never heard of those before.
THX for the share op.

I also have baby niche store but failed with google and facebook ads. I selling in organic mode but with low sales. Well I found these names "Acxiom, CoreLogic, DataLogix, eBureau, ID Analytics, Intelius, PeekYou, Rapleaf and Recorded Future." but none of them have dashboard to offers direct advertisements via banner ads. If you can tell some tips of search will be great. By the way my target audience is only for Brazil, then we aren't competitors hehe

Great share OP! Not everyone reveals such secret tools/methods. Thanks a ton :)

Hi, I make hiphop music and find instagram/Facebook advertising to be a bust. It's a gamble and not like it used to be. At one time I spent like $30 on ads and had 0 followers from that and just pure impressions yet no actions. How can I target a massive audience and gain huge exposure from this method without using instagram or Facebook?

I don't understand the data broker part, they sell you information of customers. Does they included customers emails, but we can't spam mail. Where do you get traffic from? I don't understand IB company, what are they selling?

So someplaces do give email of people. Infact many do, and Sending a personalized Cold email solicitation is not necessarily spam. You can also get addresses of people in a given area that apply to your niche and send them flyers in the mail. I did this for a local restaurant for people who are known to have eaten at similar type of establishments as theirs.

And like I said there are some that offer direct advertisement for you, if they don't you can talk to their customer support and they will usually point you in the right direction.
Could you PM me the broker you used? had a quick google and at least here in the UK they mostly seem to be offering B2b rather than B2C services.
Is you're online business not a business? If not I recommend making an IM agency and any random website you use put under the blanket of XYZ media and then using these services. Thats actually what I do.

This is really interesting and worth giving a short as I've never been successful with traditional Facebook ads.

Why don't you just say the broker you used that also has an option to advertise on.
Otherwise this shit is rather useless, there are way too many variables.

Its like saying "Invest in the stonk market, and you can become like Warren Buffet".... wow, amazing advice, wow such great wisdom. FOH

Because these people's job is literally to collect information from real life and internet sources and then connect the dots, it's almost like I don't like providing more public data than generalities to try to make my own identity harder to discern. Man how terrible of me to ask people to research part of the method on their own. I'm such a bad person.
