Could you clarify Step 5 for me...
c) Transform the content links into short links (adding your CPA offers to them)

1. Always but always add to your links a readable tag
2. Always share a link using a description of the content in front of the shared link

I'd like some help to ensure that I added the CPA offer link in the correct location.

Ex. Ashton shows his stuff bit.ly/ashtonshowingoff

Does the CPA offer link go into the subdomain field?

i think it goes in the ad code field... i could be wrong.. this was my questiong earlier too.. not sure what to put in the subdomain field either. maybe just play around with it until you get it to work.. there isnt that many combinations that you would have to try anyway.. for me what sucks is that i need to request permission for each of my email/zip submits through cpaway... anyone use this network?

I strongly recommend you to go and read their forums. They have some basic training information.

Ad Code is where you put your CPA offer's code. Subdomain is sexyurl.co/subdomain

Use their forums to get more info. And yes play around a while before you start creating your short links.

It's so damn easy...

Great post. But I might need to sign up for a different CPA site though. Or can I implement this with adsense?

Also wondering this. From browsing the forum I've roughly learnt that if the majority of your CPA traffic doesn't come from one of your websites you'll be dumped.

EDIT: if this is in fact important it would involve a simple redirect on your actual website... but then you're left with a redirect on a redirect to a redirect XD.

Perhaps if there was a way of bypassing sexyurl and just writing your own script you can run on your own site....muahahaha ;-) Any tips for this?

i signed up at the website, can i make money off the free account.. or do i need to sign up for the marketer account?, i cant access marketer because there not accepting registration due to a high level of request.

You can put your ads using a free account also. Marketer accounts have detailed analytics 100% traffic etc but they cost and they are not available. When I joined they were available but I thought they were too pricey so I passed... now I want one :)))

Ask your manager if they allow this to be sure that you don't get dumped if you fear it. I never asked this because it is banner display...your website other website as long as you populate your offers they do not care much how.

There are ready made scripts. Put your money down and start doing it. Use your friend Google for this.

Annah, which CPA networks do you use? I just signed up with peerfly but it takes 1 week and 4 days for them to confirm, and it's not even sure I will be allowed. I'm kinda afraid of the phonecall because I'm quite a newbie and I don't know what to say. Any hints?

Does it mean you get paid per click?.

Extremely noobish question.. but an answer would be nice.

CPA - Cost Per Action
You get paid for a particulat action that the user makes not per click.
The actions vary. The most popular are Email Submits and Zip Submits, where the user is promped to fill this information in a field and submit them to the advertising company. You get paid for every legit genuine submit.
Other actions can be filling forms with more information - address, credit card number, gender, age.. etc.
Also providing leads, certain downloads, users creating accounts/singups in different sites, getting free trials, buying things... etc etc
When the user makes the certain action you get paid by the CPA company.
Those CPA offers can be advertised with different techniques: Email marketing, Banners placed in various places, contextual ads, search and social advertising, coregistration, incentivised advertising. Those are the basic advertising methods.
Using the sexyurl link shortening you are using banner displaying.

Alright, I've tried out this method, unfortunately, with no luck.
So far I've managed to get 1100 clicks on my sexy urls with NO clicks on my offers.
My target audience is young and I'm using an iPhone offer so I anticipated at least some clicks...
I will wait until 2500 clicks to see if I can manage to get at least one click. Otherwise it's more profitable to use adfly (Avg. CPM: $1.96).
