But I am not in the US. How so I bypass this?Exactly. And - nope, no VPN, your billing info just needs to be your real address.
You gotta be very careful with how you mark your products being made. Etsy asks you if "you", "a member of my shop" or "somebody else" makes the product. If you post a POD shirt and say "you" make it, you'll get banned. Try my suggestion - open a store and add 10-15 tee's that are obviously POD via Printful. This got me through the "verification" process, might work for you too![]()
Can you explain more in detail how to add "Printful"? Is it a sort of option in the listing, or what? Also, wich photos did u add there? The picture with a blank t-shirt, or t-shirts with a different print?Try my suggestion - open a store and add 10-15 tee's that are obviously POD via Printful.
Possibly, yep. I just took the POD approach, however I was thinking that buying something in a local handmade shop could also work. Moreso I think it's about the time passed and maybe your first 5 sales or so.Would selling 10 or so handmade products get me through the verification as well? would assume so...
Hey! Thanks for taking an interestMy partner has been looking to do esty for her hand made shoes , she is in Thailand, I spend 3-5 months a yr out there , the rest in the uk.
She has asked me to help out , as I have never done esty I'm wondering ....
1. Do hand made goods sell ?
2. Do I stock in the uk for her and drop uk to eu. USA. UK or is it best thailand dropping usually 7-10 days.
3. As I dont know esty , I'm thinking to use fiverr to have a store set up , is that advisable ?
4. She makes the shoes for $3-5 , I suggested selling them at $9.99-14.99 post added. We have seen simular ones on esty for $19.99 but feel she will get more sales doing them cheaper then anyone else.
Great post , thx for any advice to my questions.
Printful is a Print on Demand service and they have integration with Etsy. You need to create designs, add them to printful and they'll make mockups for you. Use them to create listings on Etsy. Research a bit about them. Since they have integration with Etsy, as in you can log into your printful account via etsy and somehow link the two together, just adding legitimacy. Can you explain more in detail how to add "Printful"? Doesn't my matter. My store says its in England, I ship all items from China but my billing address is my real country - Latvia. They don't seem to care about this too much lolBut I am not in the US. How so I bypass this?
Thx for the reply! Just wanna make sure that understood right. I should upload my designs (some unique graphic) to printful, but in etsy should add "complete product", for example a t-shirt with my designs (that i previously added at printfull)?Printful is a Print on Demand service and they have integration with Etsy. Yessir, exactly. Create the shirts first in Printful, and save them as templates. If you connect Printful with Etsy, you can import shirts from Printful to Etsy. Then wait, maybe advertise. I think I got 1 or 2 sales before I started placing stuff from Etsy. Message me directly on BHW and I can tell you more. Tit for tatThx for the reply! Just wanna make sure that understood right. Alright, sounds good. DM me via BHWThanks Thomas. I guess as I've never used Etsy before I'm just kind of curious what the finished product looks like! Will be in touch. I'd even be open to collaborating with you if you think there are opportunities to expand upon this.
Yes.... Are the suppliers taking longer than usual in sending shipments?
Yep, AliExpress seems to be recovering pretty well though, which is perfectAs for now, do NOT use Printful. Their Delivery time sucks due to Covid19
