Here is the compilation of idea shared in this thread. read 1st post and other ideas are.
1. Get the content from Youtube CC scraper. Free tool shared in this forum
2. Get the content from expired domain , we have some scrapper in market place.
3. Ask question in related facebook forum and use the content.

Here is another method, I use it for targeted content , You could add your in existing webpages.
Create the google alert on your keyword and wait for it.
You will get daily email from Google in any new content for your keyword. Rephrase it and add it on your existing web pages. See the result.

I have started a journey by using all these method and would try to publish one post per day. targetted low competition keyword.
1. Not a new site thought , old site with DA of 21
2. Posted one article with 1000 words.
All content extracted from different sources.

I find the content very easy to do or get, all I do is speak out a written article in my own wording thu a microphone translated to text.
when you get good at it can knock easy 3k to 5k size articles out, over a week easy 15 big articles with Copyscape approval and gran spelling checked.
I even reference what articles I have read to make my article look proof of the fact.
remember proof fact-based articles Google loves .
there even easer way i do a lot i use gsa app for articles and rewrite them as packing content .non fact articles
most people fail on server setup for seo before they even begin , and understanding heigh quilty links, content king but seo way more then content these days .
social exposure very important, I think social accounts with high stat numbers can index you heigh in google with very little content,
it just all diffrent these days .

If I am going to spin/rewrite something I rather just take the posts that are already ranking and move from there.

Also, I think is far better to just download the captions from current youtube videos from authority channels too. I guarantee myself I will be rewriting stuff people are already searching for and ranking.
Lastly, @blackbeans mention something about interviewing small-mid size authorities on the topic i am developing.
I think this is an amazing idea!

Another way of getting content for our original keyword. We could make use of Google "People also asked question" and create the good Q & A session in our original article. For this , auto tools also can be get it in our market place.
