You're simply doing it wrong. I have been using mediafire for a while and no problems so far. Don't use winrar's password protection feature, mediafire does offer a such thing when you upload your file.

Anyone know of a good alternative with good stats etc. Dont mind paying, just dont want to keep getting suspened if Im paying

I need to use the password protection feature....that's how I lock my contact. Plus I need people to download the file first...mediafire doesn't allow the download unless you have the password. So wouldn't work that way round.
