Matt Cutts may apparently be stalking BHW

He's mocking it too, calling users DogFartJunior and BlackHatAssassin. He's trying to undermine anybody who tries to beat PageRank/Panda/Penguin. I think MC is an ass personally, and I have met him in person at Moscone Center.

Most Big Shots are A-holes,
Usually money and power takes over a persons personality and they naturally put themselves above everyone else.

Even happens here (theres a shocker)
Some VIP and Admins here, behave as is they are above everyone else, specially noobs, just because of their title.

Its sad though, that people loose a sense of compassion and what not for the average Joe, just because they have more money then them, or have a higher ranking.

thats why i suggest some people to stop outing the sources/methods making them money(or ranking there websites) if they do, they are asking for trouble.

I really doubt Matt spends much time here, I'm sure he delegates most stuff to the people below him.

And remember he is working at a global level - not trying to work out how joe blogs is ranking #1 for halo sleep sack.

It's not just Google either. MyLikes was making some members here $100-200 a day, then all of the sudden accounts got cancelled. Some people just re-registered on a daily basis, then they shut that off too.

The people at these San Francisco start-ups can and do look at referrers and use search engines to trace linkbacks and mentions of their sites. Most of them have subscription based alert software that tells them when a post on BHW or another such website shows up within a day or two. If not they just use Google Alerts. MyLikes was really slow to react, and some are, but as soon as you start posting FAQs it's going to be over soon.

Google would probably buy BHW as a private acquisition if they thought shutting it down would help eliminate this activity, but they know it won't. So it's cheaper and more convenient for them to just monitor forums. By aggregating all the exploits in one convenient place, it probably makes things easier for them.

Thanks captain obvious, im sure they order from the networks on here too so they can track em down and nail anyone who uses them...

I guess that's why we have jrVIP and exec and so on. The real stuff only gets discussed in those parts (I imagine).

I assume they scan all the SEO sites trying to find out where they can plug up holes. Remember Google hates SEO guys. We literally take money out of their pocket when someone spend money on SEO over Asswords. I [try] to never reveal any of my URLs on any SEO forums. Not even my Facebook account.

I totally agree to what he says. Some people would just create duplicate accounts saying how wonderful a product is and other members would just believe the story.

But A mod approves the thread first (here on bhw), and if it is a shitty services they don't approve it I assume. Or am I talking BS right now?

i agree with you

Couldn't MC easily just join those as well? Or his minions? Ha

Jvip yes, exec, no.
But I just don't think he'd bother, and if he did, it would be to get a feel for the industry, not to find a particular method - if he is trying to write algorithms that account for every permutation within billions of pages, he won't be looking at singling out 100 sites in a blog network, he'll be looking at how to meassure things like content quality etc over millions or billions of sites at once.

Trustedfire, who were the minions?
