Thanks for all the comments, both for and against. All comments are welcome if they are in the spirit of the thread, which they all have been.
To reiterate, this is purely for testing purposes and to give my experience back to the BHW community. I'm more than happy to risk a domain and the cost of some content so that I as well as all of us can learn. If I lose this domain, I could care less. It's about the knowledge gained.
To touch on a few points from previous comments above:
1) This site is using 100% unique content. While I have never taken a hard look into auto blogs, my personal opinion (purely an opinion, not fact) is that Google would take a hard look at copied content that is suddenly 100x more popular (in terms of back links) than the original and I think that yes that would send you to a de-listing. I think the rules change when the content is completely unique. And I'm not talking spun content, but truly authentic information, which is what Google is searching for.
2) For "how long did it take me to get out of sandbox?" It really depends. Normally 4-6 weeks. As long as 6 months.
3) For getting out of sandbox, you must keep up link velocity and add new content frequently. If you have a brand new site with little traffic from Google but tons of backlinks are being developed, then when Google sandboxes you, in theory from Google's prospective the links and content should continue to be built. But if it drops off right when Google stops sending traffic, I think this is a dead give away that the links are clearly not natural. But if there is not a hiccup in content and links, you will be removed from sandbox and all the content and links you built will count. This is what I have learned from my personal experience. Whether it is fact or not, only Big G will know.
UPDATE:
Just jumped on to the radar for three more keywords.
Here is where I stand on 4 keywords:
Main keyword: Page 1, #5
Sub keyword 1: Page 5, # 7
Sub keyword 2: Page 1, #8
Sub keyword 3: Page 10, #3
Interesting thing about Sub keyword 3, 14,800 local exact match searches, only 3.4MM competing pages, $3.81 CPC in Adwords. This is a keyword that I will track carefully and will probably target this week when I move into deep linking with SB.
Tomorrow I will give final traffic numbers for the week (once I have todays final), but here is a peak as to what has been going on in unique visitors:
4/25: 4
4/26: 4
4/27: 20
4/28: 27
4/29: 52
4/30: 49
Questions and comments are all welcome!
