guys iam planning to do mass mailing with a private server which can send 1 million mails a day, so am bit worried whether will it works really, how much conversion we can expect thru mass mailing, am promoting health niche with my website, my server shoots all mails inbox.
is there anyone out there who is doing the same, help me out..

Given how many people actually do mass mailing, I would say it works.

It really depends on the quality of the database. If you are mailing to the right addresses it's still very powerful :)

Quality of the database is very important. If you have too many bounces, you can give your IP goodbye as blacklist will happen very soon. And the number of people reporting your email as spam will be factored into your IP reputation.

Its may work for spammer but not for legit business.

I have the perfect niche e-mail list, these are recent sale leads

I bet on the quality of the database, the email list which I get is 100% good data as they are recent buyers

Then your next question will be how many of these people who receive your email will report this as spam. Next have you warm up the IP to send 1 million emails/ day? Without warming up, your email will still land into junk folder.
