mass check URLS for Wordpress?

Hello everyone, been a lurker for a while but first post!
Hope this is in the right place...Is there a way to mass check a list of URLS to check if they are running Wordpress? Like isitwp.com or wpthemedetector.com but on a mass scale instead of one by one...

I understand that Scrapebox may have this feature but does it differentiate between a Wordpress blog or a Wordpress built website... and is there much of a difference? Noob questions!

Anyway, any help would be massively apprenticed.

Wordpress is a CMS/platform. It does support the "blog" function as well as building actual sites etc.. Im not sure there is a lot of distinction between them these days.

You can have both on the same domain, a site that is run by wordpress and that also has a blog. But I guess it depends on what you are after.

You can use the page scanner in scrapebox to scan for any bit of html code. So you could probably build a filter that looks for blogs vs not. But I guess it depends on what you are after.

Brilliant, thanks for clarification. Scrapebox does seem the way to go, I was just wondering if there were any other tools or websites that allow me to search on mass with a list of urls?
