Hello everyone,
As the title suggests, I currently own an agency. The reality of the situation is as follows:
This journey purpose is to replace the single high paying client in IT with a lot of Digital Marketing clients that pay as much (ideally) or a few that pay at least 1k+/month (maybe less if all I am doing is basic listings). But the focus will be big and long term clients over small short contracts.
Currently the goals for November are:
-Aquire another 3k in monthly revenue and have my first ever 10k month.
-Start a blog for the agency and for my personal brand, tie both to a youtube and grow them with original content.
-Rethink my way of planning and writing to better my communication skills and prove my knowledge to potential clients.
The goals for this week are:
-Fix the website for the digital marketing agency.
-Create a seperate website for the I.T. agency.
-Create a personal website to act as my personal brand + resume and tie in both sites.
-Create a way of identifying the prospects I need to be contacting.
My existing hurtles are:
-Shitty website with low traffic and low ranking. {Fixing with new sites}
-No clients to create referrals. I don't want my large client to think I am replacing them and I never had clauses in old contracts to be able to show their work. {Fixing by creating new sites for various domains I own}
-No traffic. {Fixing with cold contacting after fixing my onsite SEO and starting an SEO plan.
I will be updating this thread every week (Monday's) with what my goals, pains and maybe a tutorial for the BHW FAM. This will be my conversational board so that I can launch a youtube channel of relevant contant branded with my name and my agency name.

I have an LLC filed under the name I would like to use for a marketing agency. I actively use the LLC as the holding company for my Doing Business As (DBA) and the DBA is how I do my I.T. consulting. I make about 7k+/month consulting I.T. My existing main client is an hourly wage deal I have had with them for years. I have since creating the LLC (February) picked up odd on and off clients but only added a single other I.T. client that is fully on-boarded to a monthly retainer deal. From my time both here on BHW and in college I learned a lot about IM and Digital Marketing so I wan't to pursue more clients in that realm. If I do get them they would be outsourced work for the most part, high value retainers (4k+/month like the latest one I have signed) and only in my local area.
