Converting IG Prospects into Buyers Doesn't Have to Be Hard
I am taking the pleasure to share my thoughts on Instagram-Email Marketing. How difficult or easy it can be to convert into sales and close deals with people you don't really know, let alone had prior relationship with. Before you raise an eyebrow against the cold-emailing aspect, please close this window in your browser because this isn't a legal debate about cold emailing.
Why my rant? Some people will always hypocritically call it evil. But I say, smart guys are making decent cash from [cold] email marketing alone. Therefore it's high time to stop complaining about how the recent Google updates crippled your site ranking, dropped your monthly revenue and affect you from head to toe. While this write-up is actually about making conversions off Instagram leads, I deemed it right to align it with email marketing.
However, cold emailing takes ton of efforts. But then it depends because it can take a huge amount of unrealistic efforts if your list isn't targeted or a just a mere collection of fragmented data [which may land you in CAN-Spam hot water due to high bounces and many other red flags]. Believe me, I have blasted out cold emails at a whole bunch of randomly scraped, bought list which didn't work but almost got my domain blacklisted. Thank goodness I recovered after several appeals.
Am I saying that cold emailing doesn't work? NO. Again, only if you do proper targeting will cold emailing ever make any sense. When I say "Proper Targeting" I actually refer to Streamlined Sourcing to the point that you actually go fetch your prospects yourself in a platform filled with lovers of your product(s). I's also a good idea to hire a trusted expert to do this for you.
This is where Facebook groups are gold mine. Why? People tend to join with a common goal, interests, and intents. This is not difficult to determine, you will only need a bot that can extract members' data, get an email marketing solution like MailChimp, GetResponse among several others. If these are too expensive, go get a reliable Email Marketing Software paired with good SMTP server, [and maybe bulletproof VPS too]. I'm not gonna spoon-feed anyone right here.
There are enough guides to explore in the forum. Try and Err your own way until something works for you within say two weeks, six weeks, eight weeks.
It depend on how committed you are, and how bad you really need to scaled up and stop being broke again. The only caveat with Facebook group is that most of them are spammed to death. However, I would rather look for a moderated group with medium members say 5k or 12k [in my experience, they are less likely to be bots].

Instagram as a streamlined source is even more useful or somehow stress-free since people usually follow a user, with intent. On Instagram, you don't really have to exhaust all your efforts in CRO if you already have ton of followers. All you have to do is mine their data and pitch to them just as they already love you or your products/services. Though, there are not much tools to mine data off IG yet [I might be wrong]. With this in mind, I am looking to provide a custom solution to BHW members in my next [sale] thread just after Jr. VIP upgrade.

. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT! Otherwise you will be wasting money. Most of these sellers lie to scrape fresh leads but in reality, they sell the same leads over and over again to random people around the globe.
The result? You deliver cold email messages at people that have their heads already aching over clogged inboxes, with the same format/message that looks something like:
"Hey Frosh Lee,
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I was just thinking you might be interested in blah blah..."
Damn! Just Another Sale Pitch, says one of your bought buddies. Then he got the mail deleted asap. The same cycle keeps going till you learn the hard way and ditch email marketing altogether. WTF! Instead of getting up to learn what failed, you simply ditched almost the entire globe, then lost the chances to make money off just a tiny fraction of 7.53 billion people who could buy you a Lamborghini collectively [without actually knowing one another].
This ain't cool man! Put yourself in the same shoe. How would you feel with tons of these clogged up your inbox? If you suck at email marketing, why not first get your ass off and grab some how-to guides of cold emailing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). As you DO, you LEARN, and gain a wealth of experience in the process. Do it cleverly, man. Stuck?

You already know this stuff. Anything goes to scale with Instagram. You just have to figure out your own way, where your market really is on IG, and know what exactly people care to buy.
