Making a lot money with adsense, possible ?

Like beeing said, bring in more traffic will be most important. But there is also other points to improve then:

- Try different or more ad space.

- if you have more traffic then you can switch to a „managed service“ like Ezoic, mostly those have other platforms and better deals.

- Price depends on topic of your site e.g. finance is paid better than fun.

Nothing’s really wrong. Cooking niche has low RPM, and 3k visits/month is still small for AdSense. To make real money you need much more traffic, higher value keywords, or better monetization like affiliates or display networks beyond AdSense.
 
Sell affiliate products that actually fit your niche. Simple.

Set up an email capture page and use email marketing to warm people up before you start pushing your affiliate links.

This is normal for recipe blogs. Most recipe keywords have very low AdSense value, especially when traffic is informational or from low-paying countries. That’s why rankings and traffic don’t always translate into revenue in this niche.
 
Nothing sounds “wrong” technically, it’s more about how sdsense works with your current setup. With ~3,000 visits a month, $0.30/day is actually quite common, especially in the cooking niche where cpc is usually low and a lot of traffic comes from low-intent keywords (people just looking for ideas, not ready to buy)

Ranking for 8,000 keywords also doesn’t necessarily mean much if most of them bring very little traffic or are informational with low advertiser competition. Geo, ad placement, page speed, and user engagement all play a big role too. In many cases, food blogs only start seeing decent income when traffic is much higher or when they switch to better placements, higher-paying display networks, or add affiliate offers alongside adsense

You really need traffic in the hundreds of thousands to make good money with adsense for most sites now. Finance or high RPM niches being an exception but then those niches are very competitive.
 
yeah, i’d agree with others: you just need more traffic. 3,000 visits/month is too small for adsense to pay much, especially in cooking. you can tweak ad placement, but without more visits (and more pageviews per visit) earnings won’t really grow.

What you need is organic traffic, not buy traffic.

AdSense upgraded their system 3 years ago. Now AdSense can identify the source of your traffic. If the traffic comes from ad networks, AdSense will reduce revenue by 90% for each click. This is why those who used to engage in arbitrage are now finding their earnings per click negligible.

Of course, if your website generates organic traffic, AdSense will also recognize this, and the revenue per click from organic traffic will be normal.

Never buy traffic from AdWords and send it to your AdSense website, your earnings will be virtually zero.

Nothing is broken. The cooking and recipe space pays poorly with AdSense. Food keywords have low CPC and low RPM. Lots of traffic, weak buyer intent, heavy competition from big publishers.
