Making a living with youtube?

Just try to find a few unsaturated niches, do some proper SEO, and you should be good to go. Keep trying until you succeed, and take a good amount of time to learn and improve.
 
i make a good living on a mix of uploading viral videos, and affiliate links, but my bread and butter is in video creation & production for other members, just stick at it till the money comes.
 
Finding something that you love is most important. I used youtube, and gain 5k-6k views every month without uploading another video, but I saw a need for my services and knowledge so that is exactly what I did. - 5k-6k views every month is not spectacular, but I am dominating the niche within youtube. Now I'm starting from almost nothing with another account, so looking at some low hanging fruit keywords and am most likely going to do some viral facebook marketing with some solid SEO on youtube. So if you need some help sometime just let me know.

I have heard of some people making a living with YT but it's damn unstable, so even they want to diversify.
 
This is actually more than I thought people made. A few dollars per 1k views isn't that bad and if your content is unique enough it is entirely possible. Time to find some gammer channels and do some math..
 
It's definitely possible but not necessarily easy. I make about $500 a month from YT right now with on average 1-2 hours of work a day. That is about a $9-$10 an hour average. Plenty of room to grow too. I've been lazy and feeling out new niches.

The thing is though it can be here today and gone tomorrow. It's very volatile.
 
What type of content works well for YouTube??
Any Idea on getting or making those content....

google and youtube kills so many businesses and people earning these days

i know last few years many ppl make x,xxx/ month ONLY with youtube :)

As some other people said, Youtube is very unstable. A few months ago I had 3 channels which were killing It. They were making a lot of views and I was earning decent money, but all of a sudden one morning I wake up and what do I see? Youtube disabled monetization on all my 3 channels, so I had to start over. If you know what are you doing you could make some easy money with youtube, but keep in mind that It's not forever.
 
You will have to be offering an affilated product for sale or your own product or service to earn quickly on youtube. Money or skills will have to be invested in great content and ranking to get traffic to earn from advertiser
