Making a living with youtube?

Each a YT video which get ranked on Google and you make profit $50 per month.

Imagine if you rank 100 YT videos on Google, let do the math...

$50 x 100 YT videos = $5,000 per month. Is this income level enough for making a good living? :)

how to optimize keywords on video? I've seen a video that has video suggested the majority coming from the same channel.

Well if i understand you than it's basically because this channel is using keywords that are not common. Like if someone plays a game XXX he uploads the game with the title "Lets Play XXX Part YY" with the keywords game xxx, lets play xxx, ...

If you upload videos like that you will most likely not see your videos to be suggested to the same audience. You need to use keywords that are not common. For example the Youtuber "stampylonghead" dominates the keyword Minecraft Xbox. So if u want your videos to be suggested to the same audience you must use keywords and titles like "Stampy's lovely world - Minecraft Lets Play [XXX]" instead of titles that are very common like "Let' Play XXX Part YY".
 
sing a bad song, upload to youtube, you have a chance become a idol on Youtube and the money come to you.

clearly using hitleap or some other source of artificial views. Analytics dont fluctuate that much on a legit, organic growing channel. Notice how on the bottom right channel, it earned a bunch of money randomly, then went back down to $0? Not a coincidence. Hitleap is not safe traffic, and if your channnel gets deleted before you get paid, then you don't get paid.

Weird. I just noticed majority of people here are always speculating about the source of my traffic and telling me its not safe? I've been with YouTube since 2008 but I started my YT business late 2012.

Analytics can fluctuate more than that if you know what you are doing.

Here's some traffic source from 1 of my channels to give you an idea.

Yeah, I've seen people who make their money off youtube. It is unstable though and you have to appease your audience.
 
Can someone suggest me a way to earn money with Youtube other than adsense? My channels get more than 1 million views per month and I'm wondering how can I make some extra money with my views? Any suggestions?
 
Just promote your channel on all social networks, sub reddits, etc... I currently get about 800 views per day and I have 210 subscribers, I managed to get that in Just 5 months and I only recently started uploading good quality stuff.
 
Im doing very very well on youTube. I collected $1,800 last month. Yes, it is possible.
 
How do you guys do research to find niches with low competition? And 'gurus' you can suggest?
 
There are people who do make a living off of Youtube.

Need to rank videos.
 
Try to bring people from Holland , Belgium , North Germany (youtube pays 61 $ / 1k views) if you bring viewers from a country like Malaysia you will get about 0.30 cents/1k.
You can check that in (Youtube Analytics -> Performance of your advertise -> Select what region you like to view "down countryes" and you will see the results for each country.
 
I guess only with whitehat long-term approach. Otherwise I would be looking somewhere else.
 
I just start my youtube channel and it growth very slowly with less then 100 views a day. pls help me growth up.
 
I make between $350 - $650 depending on the month.
I have my channel for about 5 years (stop for 1 year the continued)
I get 70% of whatever my channel makes in revenue.
I get paid every month on time no issues.

In order to break the $100/month mark might take sometime depending on the niche.
If I would start a channel right now, I would pick between: gaming, recipe or complications.
