Making a living with youtube?

Using YT as the only source of income is difficult but still possible. Get at least 10k views per month to each upload. the views must be legit

yes you can make a living with Youtube, I don't make directly but YT is a tool for a bigger picture.

the best way to make money from youtube?

Get desperate! you wiil soon learn to find ways to make money! ;)

It's true. I had like 100 views a day when i joined in April, then all of a sudden one of my gaming commentary video's got 230.000 views in 8 days and my channel has instantly grown to the point i'm getting 18.000 views minimum a day and make a ton of cash. I also make sure i upload 2-3 video's a day lol

Define "a ton of cash"

YouTube was one of the first sites to pay its users, and while it's hard to make money unless you generate a lot of traffic, it's possible.

If you have a channel with at least 300 views a day, I work for a Youtube ad network. They pay $20 for every thousand views and you keep 90% of revenue. PM if interested.
$20 every 1k is impossible, sorry :(

I don't make a living but I make $XXX/month. I'd recommend choosing a niche that will have a lot of viewers, make two channels - one focusing on quality and one on quantity with the view to start making money with the quantity one straight away and over a year or two, make the quality one into an authority.

Edit: I make about $1/1k visitors but that's through YouTube directly, not with a network. Should I join a network and do they have different (better paying) ads than AdSense?

I only wish I could make a living off YouTube, but sadly, I don't :(

I currently am on about 2k views a day, but I do not earn anywhere near enough to be able to pack my job in and do it full time. But to make a living off YouTube, you need to be making at least $50 a day at the minimum which is worth about 30,000 to 40,000 views per day (depends on network and CPM). So making enough money off YouTube to make it your job isn't an easy task, but it defiantly is possible!

I would never classify youtube earnings as a source of stable income. I would say its a great source for recreational income and if you are not dependent on it, the better you are. I've made a lot of money via youtube and taught others to make more but a good education and day job will beat any current youtube income...unless you make it BIG and are one of the few! then nvm.

I see youtube as a method of making money during the process of doing what you do to make money,

as in, vids of you doing what you normally do to set things up, rank or whatever it is that you do. That's how i look at it atleast.

Just for motivation:

-I started my youtube channel about 1 week ago
-I got 600.000+ views on 3 videos
-I got 2.000 Subscibers

How i did :

-My niche has high competition
-I used unlisted method (3 dollar invest for 1 video) to rank my video on first page

Now i just wanted to see how many views i can get if i use unlisted method for something "real" (not ppd),
and as u can see it worked really well. If i would continue with this i would easily get over 100 k subscribers
in a short time, but my problem was that almost every clip i used in my compilations has copyright problems.
BTW my niche was "Vine Compialtions". So if u put a lot more work into it and just use for example vines from
producers who do not work together with Youtube networks like collab or fullscreen, you can earn a lot of money
with it.

Yeah I know, I m quite good on two third of the method (upload and bank) am just looking for a quick refresh on the second step...

Apparently YT user "PewDiePie" makes $4 million per year from YT doing little more than goofing around on his computer for all to see....

I earn 100 to 150 a day just uploading fake game cracks......... Its not really that hard to make money. The hard part is to stop reading on here day in and day out, and take action. taking action is like playing the lottery, you cant win if you dont play. Enough said.....
