I am finally out of my horrible 2 year contract with Machinima and I don't want to make the same mistake again.
I know there are other topics about this and I read most, but a lot of them are old with conflicting advice.
I would like some recent advice, and hopefully you guys can help me on this incredibly hard decision.

Maker and Fullscreen both offered me 70/30 split.

If I choose Adsense would my CPM be low because I make mostly gaming videos?

The main question I would like cleared up is would I make more money with adsense or with a network??

Thanks guys/girls and any advice is Greatly appreciated!!!

Adsense CPM is higher than Machinima because they are the worst network after TGN but the problem with Adsense is the "Provide proof for monetizing".
You can go with a much better networks than Fullscreen and Maker like Curse (Union For Gamers) 90/10 split with NO LOCK IN contract, Creative Nation 90/10 with 3 months trial and after that a 10 months contract or ZoominTV 80/20 with 3 month trial and after that a 1 year contract.

O wow this is really good info. I am definitely going to look into those companies right now.
So would I be better off joining one of those networks or going with Adsense??

Off-topic but gotta ask - are you getting all that traffic legit or you have a popular gaming channel? If it's the 2nd (popular channel) can you pls PM me you channel? :)

Its all legit views. It won't let me PM until i have 15 posts

Curse is looking a little too good to be true.
Is anyone currently partnered with them?
It would be awesome if anyone was previously partnered with Maker or Fullscreen and could compare how much they are making now with Curse.

Out of curiosity, how many subs do you have? And are they all legit (non-bought)

I have 27,000 subscribers and everything is legit

I've read somewhere that basically the "main boss" of the company (CEO or something) gave the network owner a building and all the infrastructure for free because he already had all of it, just didn't know what to do with it. So, the owner justifies "too good to be true" rates by lower operational costs than it takes.

I've read this 3-4 months ago on some forum so I obviously forgot where exactly, but yeah. I've heard many people get paid regularly by Curse. IT doesn't hurt to try, there's no lock-in contract afaik...

Freedom seems great.
They even got a network that pays you for playing games ($5 per video you post with the game + some % of all leads they get from your referral link).

Freedom's cut is 40% of the earnings!!

Curse is the best network for gamers on youtube right now. Creative Nation and ZoominTV are in the second place equally. There is a forum called YTTalk you can ask there but don't mention any blackhat methods they will ban you.

2 years ago I joined Fullscreen.
I can't recommend it.

Suddenly when I joined them my earnings dropped massively, no joke. It was like $200 just from adsense before and the following month when I joined Fullscreen it was about $50 per month. But the biggest problem was my views also dropped like crazy.

I had about 4-5k views per day, but then it dropped to 500-1k per day.
I had constantly 4k views for 1 year, but then after joining Fullscreen it dropped like that?

They offer something called like "Gorilla Campaign" or something like that, where you can promote other guys videos.
I think its really worthless, if you promote other people your own subs/fans (I'm talking about active subs) will leave you, because of these shitty videos.

And they are doing nothing for you. You do all the work and they are earning. Even 70/30 is too much. Just think about it, you invest all your time and they get their 30% for nothing. Ridiculous.

I would never do that again. And I think if I wouldn't have join Fullscreen my YouTube Channel would be awesome. I had millions of views already. I had a football/soccer channel where I made tutorials for football tricks and so on.
