Mac doing the job automatically post/delete content

Hi Blackhats,

I have started on a project that involves me using at the moment 8 gumtree (it's local classified ads) accounts and I have to repost my sales pitches every day to stay on top of the lists.

I want to know if I can write up a code (i'm very novice to coding, and assumed I should write in scripting because I want this to run from my mac) and how I can do that, what would be my first steps?

I want the code to do the fallowing:

• Open A link I have specified (login/password on gumtree)
• Enter details (user/pass)
• Select advertisement and delete it
• Select new advertisement and fill in all the data in the required fields.
• Submit and Done.

I want this for all 8 accounts so I assume I should have 8 codes because content for each add is different.

Is this possible and if so, what are my first steps or alternatively how much would I need to pay for a code like this?

You could easily use Selenium to do this, but as you say you are a novice I would recommend Sikuli. It is much easier to get the hang of.

Thanks a lot!! Just took a look at Sikuli and it looks perfect and super easy to set up!

If you have Magic submitter you could use it to create such a code which should add and delete quickly or try to find a specific gum bot to help you out

Cool. Let me know how you get on with it. I found it a while ago and used it to automate all the annoying stuff in my job. Now I'm telling anybody who will listen how great it is.

I haven't got my head around it yet as I'm making major changes for my site, but when I complete that I'll start making the bot.

Just out of curiosity (since I haven't started anything yet and don't know how it works) would it be possible to run on another computer since the images will slightly change ext?
