Lost Ranking after Link Building

I will keep it short so you guys can easily relate with it.

So, I wrote an article last year and eventually with some link Building the post was on Number #5 2 days ago, but seeing it today, it went to page 2 #4 after I built some backlinks via commenting day before yesterday and yesterday.

What could be wrong, please?

Experts please help out. Thanks.

For the money site you should direct only the higher quality links..
 
For money site only go for high quality links, not crappy links like: comments
 
Previous replies are true. Not every link is valuable, some type of links are harmfull.

But I think in your case that' not neccesary your links fault (but to be fair will be good to check how good are links).

Also how long you were on 5-th position ? It could be even because Google Dance. That good related to other factors. Including you were raised because of some type of Google Dance or there was an update.

Agree. Blog comments in limited quantity are okay if they stick.

If you got stable high authority non spam blog comments, they may help you to get back to same position or better.

Have you tried indexing them at once? Or built all in a day?

Then stop this, use dripfeed.

i doubt your backlinks from 24-48 are the cause for sudden reduction. There is a google update around jan 12th, so that could be the culprit.

Also, is there any site shuffles in the top 5 positions or just your site?!

The sites that were on page 2 came back to page 1.

Maybe it's building all in one day cause I left comments and some web 2s more than 8 times for a single post - money post.

Interested on the topic, but i'm asking to be sure, what do you mean by Money sites exactly ? Can make some light there please.
 
The ranking decrease is not due to blog comments, most of the time these links need some time to get indexed. And if you didn't blast 10000 blog comments to your site they won't harm you in any case.

You should also check if your blog comments are live or not. Sometime a link index quickly and then owner remove it. So, removal of that link can also result into the fluctuation

Build the same links to the other article currently at #2 and see.
 
Dont understand why people would still use commenting as a way to attain links, you need way more than that and please go slow
 
could just be a coincidence.. Backlinks can't impact your site just after 2 days. The drop could have been for other reasons.
