    Hello,

I am looking for a SMS Payment Gateway, if posible that can work in different countries. Does any one knows a company that offers it??

Because I want to use SMS for small feature services and Credit Card for big feature services.

    Can anyone recommend me one?

    Cheers!

Text2Pay or JunglePay was the best that i've found, but the problem with them is they hold your money for 90 days in the beginning before you get paid. No one has gotten it completely right yet, but the carriers are to blame really.

For no wait, there is Paygol, but USA is blocked and it has to be approved by the carrier or some shit. And i've emailed them asking about it and i couldn't get a answer. So fuck them.

There are a lot of SMS payment gateways, among them are: Fortumo, SmsCoin, Boku, Zong and many others. I would recommend you SmsCoin, I consider it to be the best variant for SMS payment. It has great coverage and solutions. Revenue shares are high and paid out without delays! Moreover, you will get 24/7 technical support for free.

    Hello dennisyu,

first of all thanks for the info, but, it seems that the one that recommends profi is really good, it is in over 90 something countries and specially all the countries I was looking for seems to be really easy to install.

The only thing I don't know is how they work, for what I been reading they work by comission for every smspayment they get 60% of the value and I get 40% depending the country, can you please confirm if that is how they work?

Cheers and thanks a lot 2 both very awesome info!

Check out MGCash it has CPA/SMS locker. So if someone can't do CPA offer you can still get sms payments. Works really good for me :)

As this thread is getting more and more interesting for a number of people, I will gladly share some of my knowledge on this topic.

First of all, let's concern revenue shares: mobile operators usually take 40-70% of price paid by customer, mobile billing takes 2-10%, depending on your traffic (more traffic, less fees) and at the end you usually receive 40-60% of the amount paid, depending on country.

Does it worth it at all? Definitely, in most countries it's the only way to charge customer and customer base is bigger than any other payment option. Actually, it's everybody who has mobile phone. As I know, except such markets like the USA one, SMS payments are 50-80% of all payments received in most online gaming or social websites. Of course, with such commission, it is better to sell something virtual, like game currency and so on. So, you really don't care about how much you loose, you care how much you receive because there is no other option, as I wrote before.

And now, short comparison of all companies listed before.
    Zong
    # of countries: 44
registration: seems to be open, but they approve each project, as I know
payments: to bank account, with hold of 2-6 month, depending on country
    integration: HTTP API, android library

    Boku
    # of countries: unknown, no public information available, the last thing I know, they have about 40 countries
    registration: thru managers
payments: to bank account, with hold of 2-6 month, depending on country
    integration: HTTP API, android library

    Smscoin
    # of countries: 90+, the largest, as I know
    registration: free and open
payments: to bank account, PayPal or Webmoney, within 15 days for all countries (actually, they automatically do factoring for all merchants)
integration: HTTP API, a lot of services for specific needs (like chat or donations), android library and really huge amount of modules almost for any CMS in the world

    JunglePay
    # of countries: 80+, but a friend of mine said that a number of them is simply not working)
    registration: free and open
payments: to bank account and PayPal, with hold of 2-6 month, depending on country
    integration: HTTP API

    Fortumo
    # of countries: 73
    registration: free and open
payments: to bank account, PayPal or Webmoney, with hold of 2-6 month, depending on country
integration: HTTP API, android and windows8 libraries

    Text2Pay
    # of countries: 81
    registration: thru managers
payments: with hold of 2-6 month, depending on country
    integration: HTTP API, android library

SmsCoin is my favorite, as they lead by a number of characteristics, you can compare yourself, but market is huge and there are more companies to explore, depending on your needs. Hope my answer is helpful and if anybody needs advice on something specific, just ask.

If you're planning on only operating in one or two countries you can also considered getting your own shortcode (this can be a bit pricey in some areas). However, if you plan on doing any significant volume, you'll get to keep the higher % of your earnings compared to any SMS gateway.

With SMScoin-- for USA the minimum price point is $4.99 and you only get 25%, and you also need to get approval.

So i guess it depends on where most of your traffic comes from and your own needs.

And yes, when it comes to sms payments you only get a percentage of the conversion. Also, with JunglePay and Text2Pay-- users have the option to pay with credit card.

Wow guys this is really valuable info!!

Thanks a lot really to everyone, I did not know there were so many companies, but for me guys I think the best choice is SMSCoin, first because I need a system I can used in at least 20 different countries and for far SMSCoin does it, second I really don't like that the smscompany holds your money between 2-6 months for me that sounds ridicoulous, 2 weeks max I think is fair but 6 months its just ridiculous and third is because the facilities they give me for integration it seems to be the easiest one for far.

If there is anything better than SMSCoin let me know and thanks everyone for making this thread so interesting and worth it for a lot of us.

    Cheers!!
