Looking for a cheap web-hosting wordpress

I am looking for a cheap web-hosting that is extremely fast for a personal website (1 domain) which will use wordpress.

As of now I am using a web-host which charged $6 for semi-annually plan, it was cheap but then it's very slow and keeps going down and nothing loads at all.

I even have a $1 hosting and it's slow af, although it's stable. I am looking for a hosting that offers semi-annually plan within that range and could be cheap.

All posts are very old there, I tried browsing through all the pages but half of them are closed and do not work.

hawkhost is on 70% discount now, I'm using them. $20 per year (normally $71), I guarantee it's a lot better than Namecheap ( I used both).
