Hi all,
This journal will document my progress (or lack of) with selling clickbank products - in a way carrying on from Leith's 5 day case study of which I send my thanks. Some posts on BHW have inspired me to stop procrastinating and pull my finger out from where the sun doesn't shine. I hope this journal will serve a few purposes, including inspiring others to do the same, invoke the sharing of ideas and give me the responsibility to keep going!
Let's face it, when you're just starting out down the IM road with no guarantee of success, the administration required to make money from the net is painful. Writing articles, researching methods and niches, making videos blah blah blah...
A bit about me. I'm 30 years old trapped in a 9-5, with a couple of extra mouths to feed. My childhood dream of being an office type manager or DJ has been crushed by the reality of the depressed managers I have encountered and the struggling yet sexy female DJ's playing in big London clubs.
Time to crack on. The following picture is a spreadsheet I made with open office to record my clickbank results:

Now armed with market samurai, the free blog commentator and a free web 2.0 posting software, I will continue to update this thread until a clickbank product is sold!
DAY 1
I have selected 1 clickbank product from each category making 25 in total. From other posts on BHW, my understanding is that products with the highest gravity are selling well but will also have the most competition. The products I have selected have therefore got a gravity of around 20. They are also inclined to be about something I know at least a bit about to make producing media easier and have attractive landing pages. Each product has been added to the spreadsheet above. I have written 1 article on the first product, and used this as a template for 3 more. The first article has been submitted to articlebase and 20 web 2.0 pages using the keyword of the product name, with a single bitly link at the bottom attached to the keyword.
Using an article search in Market Samurai, I note within 5 hours my article has been plagarised!
Also my bitly link has been destroyed! I researched methods to prevent this happening on BHW and replaced the bitly link in the first article with a PHP redirect via a private domain.
Total sales for day 1 = 0
