Link Building Techniques that Actually Work today!

What about "outreach" being one of the most effective link building tactics that still works? Reaching out to other websites related to your niche and trying to get links on their sites that add value to the viewers.

Yes, that's possible through guest posts. It works, if you have experience with sending nice emails and you can communicate well with other bloggers.

I did a wrong thing then, I bought some "real" followers on twitter, and also something for Pinterest, but this method didn't work. It turned out that the followers where fake. So bad buck. Will try to use your techniques.

I already started building Web 2.0 link with unique content and everything (images, videos) and I just have to wait to see the outcome.

Real followers = more likes and shares = more backlinks = Better rankings, as simple as that.

Sorry but this defiantly not true, i have sites with mixed and 100% scraped content and they are ranking just fine for years now, please stop the "write great content" nonsense, the only thing you need to write "great content" for is your visitors not the search engines.

The whole dup/scrape content myth is really a myth, don't get me wrong if you have shitty content your visitors will leave your site but in order to get rankings the only thing you need to rank are backlinks and lots of them... don't belief me? Go test it yourself you wiouldbe supriced :)

Besides this great post for n00bs +Rep

So, here you are only talking about continuous backlinking as long as you want income from the site? Because bad content will never get automatic shares/backlinks. What do you think? Good content has more advantages than I can jot down here.

also tier 1 article linking, (web2, quest post, etc...) need to be unique aswell, poor spun articles will hurt your rankings

i don't realize how social media backlinking works
all the links in social media are nofollow;

can someone clear up the things to me

1. Social Media - Facebook & Twitter are two most important social media websites, which can do wonders for your website. With some solid facebook and twitter following, you can easily bring your blog posts on top. Other sites like Rediff, Pinterest & Stumbleupon play an equally important role. Google considers it as an important signal that people love your website.

Point to remember: Facebook likes must not be doubted with links coming from a single site (so they won't be useful). Actually when readers share your article, they give you outbound links from their respective profile urls, hence more the social media participation, better the SEO.

Theres no concrete proof that social signals have an impact on organic rankings. People need to learn the different between correlation and causation.

In SEO, we never have proofs, it's all about experimentation. Social signals are in-trend, and work nicely for boosting SERPs, if done in the right way.

It's true, it will impact your site if you use all the method

Yes the links are no-follow, but in large numbers, they do pass on some Link Juice. Similarly, blog comments are no-follow links, but they are effective in improving rankings. Go ahead, make some links and see the difference. You might be able to come up with some results that will help others too :)

Regarding Guest posts make sure that they are having high PA and DA. Also make sure that blog is having traffic and that blog should not hit by any of the google update. Try to check the details in semrush and then go on..

Should start with link building and blog posting together. Links will get you the rankings and enough (+nice) content will see your visitors coming again to your site, hence building your reputation.

Thank you so much.

What are your views on the tiers link building, 3tier, 2tier etc. ?

I wonder how google algorithm transforms this social presence in rank position. Is it the quantaty of links present on social websites or is the quality of the social media websites(pages) on which the links are present?

Tiers are important today, as competition has increased in almost all niches. PM me for detailed info about it. Also, I will post a new thread soon giving details about it. Thanks.

Social media's influence in SEO is increasing every day, and will soon become an integral part of modern SEO. Quantity and quality both matter.

I think mostly quality content are very impotent for any site because search engine first checks the content of site so content must be unique and then quality backlink effects to get more traffic.

Good info for those who is new in SEO. Thanks,
Looking forward to see here other methods and techniques that work.

Nice info OP. Usually little light comes on when I hear the word "Guru". That's how I know to stay away from such people... The same rules apply to "Genie, wizard and boss" ^^

They are good to have if they are real and organic and not automated, but it will not be enough in itself.

2. Guest Posting - It's safest and most reliable source of link building. If you guest post on a relevant, quality blog, your rankings will improve. Better the Authority of the blog (where you guest post), more the boost in your own rankings.

Guest blogging can help or hurt your site. Pay close attention to what Matt Cutts says in these videos.

4. Blog Commenting - Participating in blog commenting can boost your SERPS. However, you can't just leave 250 same comments on 250 different blogs. It will certainly take you down. You need to take the discussion further, and be genuine. Vary the anchor text and try to get 10-15 comment links in a week, not more than that.

Be very careful with this tactic.

I appreciate your post. These are really very good techniques and working today. I think in the above techniques social media and content writing is the best way to increase the ranking of a website.
