your thoughts are true but ! who says you are only limited to Gmail there are thousands of other isps , like one wise man once said "money is on the list" ! you can do hotmail yahoo icloud !:p ... and so many, specially European cables ! these convert like charm and leads are 3 euros to 300 euros ... !

Ok this guy know as much as I know lol ! IP rotation and IP warming is the key to $$$$ with email marketing !
infact I have a web application that does all of this ! you only have to install delivery servers and start working your ass !

What mailing strategy do you use....list building or direct to offer?
 
I have email sign-up form on homepage but that's not too effective for me. No one has yet registered. I have about 20 UVs per day.

I think once I get more traffic i can get some people to sign up on my list. Then I could use the list to inform visitors about my new posts, so if you write a really good post theres bigger chance it will go viral.

But Im not really good at email marketing, ive seen people pushing products, premiums and affilates every email they send. Its easy to become perceived as just another email spammer.


And if you just informed them about your new best posts, then you could simply use browser notifications (which i need to dig into) - dont need an email server for them, u write a post and they get a popup if they have browser turned on and allowed your site to send notifications
 
you need good python sender with gmail or icloud smtp , for me its doing good with inbox.
