How landing pages can drive traffic to your website?

If you’re looking to generate more leads and customers from your site, then landing pages can be your best friend. This type of page is specifically designed to make it easy for you to acquire more leads and it’s always focused on value and results more than anything else.

What is a landing page?

Landing pages are special pages where you showcase what your product has to offer, what customers can expect from it and what kind of value you bring to the table. The primary reason for creating landing pages is to provide a page full of information about your products and services. You also want to guide customers towards completing a certain action. That might be enrolling in your newsletter or purchasing your product/service, depending on the situation.

What can you include on a landing page?

Ideally the landing page needs to be full of information and images (But not too much). You want to add as much relevant content as possible in there, because the more stuff you add, the easier it will be to entice your customers to make a purchase. The best landing pages have an explainer video, lots of images as well as high quality content. You will also need a call to action, something that’s pretty much mandatory when you want to entice customers towards completing a certain task.

How can landing pages help bring traffic to your website?

Once you start adding high quality content infused with your most important keywords, more and more people will visit your website. What this means is that you will have targeted traffic coming in, and that will transform into new leads and customers in no time. Exploring new options and challenges that appear along the way is very important. And the thing that makes landing pages unique is that you get to keep them active and visible for as long as you want.

Once you create a landing page, it will stay online, constantly bringing in more leads and customers in no time. Moreover, you get to guide your customers towards whatever page you want. You can make them sign up for your newsletter, towards the purchase page, or you can guide them towards your services and let them choose what option suits your needs the most. The possibilities are limitless here and that’s one of the things that really makes targeted landing pages special to begin with.

Promoting your landing page via social media and Google Ads is crucial if you really want to have more traffic on your website. Thankfully, once you share the landing page and start promoting it, you will have targeted traffic coming in and you will finally be able to generate more leads and customers organically while also showing the true value of your business. Make sure that you spend as much time as possible to customize, test and perfect landing pages to ensure that you reap the benefits and results.

Should I bother with a sitemap? does that effect ranking? I know it doesn;t do anything for CTR since the page is just lead gen and I just want the CTA to be prominent

So should proper landing page only be one page, or do I need to fluff it out some more?

Good guide. Don't forget to make the landing page look nice. No one likes a bad looking landing page.

A sitemap makes it easier for Google, so you should include one.
