Landing Page or DIrect Link?

Hello I am trying google AdWords for Cloaking and wonder what shall I cloak my landing page or my affiliate link? Can't I directly cloak my affiliate link?

The best approach is to use a pre-lander that complies with Google Ad policies and then cloak the CTA button.

You better go with landing page and avoid direct linking.

Suppose I make the prelander in wordpress and then Pretty Link can do that job perfectly on the CTA button, right?

There is no surefire way here. Very dependant on your promotion strategy.

If you think your adset is very comprehensive and cover the motivation of potential customer - link the offer page so that customer doesn't have to click through additional webpage. This might lead to lower bounce rate and better results.
If your banner/promotext is very vague and only serves to grab the customer's attention, you'll be better off with a blog-like landing page, that provides additional motivation.

The best way to find out which method works for you is to split-test different adsets and link chains (with a budget of 10x the offer's payout).

Since you are cloaking ... obviously direct linking to the offer. Why would someone cloak if one would make a perfectly compliant landing page for AdWords? It can be though that landing page could help you convert visitors better (test).

Earlier direct linking had no issues but recently ads do not get approved so its best to try both and if direct linking is getting approved then go for it else just use landing page.

Besides landing page is much preferred.

Hello,

I have a question related to this thread. I am using many adwords accounts. I want to know if i am using cloaker on the domain from ads with redirect to affiliate link directly, i must be worried about getting banned by affiliate network? If they will check my referal will see the redirect and maybe they dissagree with this.

Yeah man you should definetly ask them if you can use search as a way of traffic or not.
