Hello everyone,
I've got a question that I've seen answered before while reading around BHW.
So recently I've started playing around with keyword revealer and kwfinder, even semrush sometimes. and each offers it's one variant of "Keyword competition Score" to determine the level of competition and indicate whether this'll be an easy, moderate or hard keyword to rank.

my question is what does this score represent exactly? how difficult it'll be to rank in the top 10 results? or top 3? or even to reach the 1st spot? (i do understand that these are just tools and nothing beats a manual evaluation of the case, i just want to understand what they represent)

thanks

Yes, Definitely you must have a doubt on this. Whatever tool you can use, simply do manual research even though it shows low competition. We prefer Long tail pro platinum current version. It shows the exact competition because they consider completely competitor's site metrics as like URL TF, URL CF, Domain TF, Domain CF, Site Age, Backlinks.
Yes, sure you can use keywordrevealer to check keywords difficulty, but look at competitors backlinks report, so that you will get clear idea how many backlinks you have to build and what type backlinks.
