Initially I wanted to create unique content to make money on YouTube. I did 2 videos and realized that I just don't want to waste time on that right now. After making two videos with amazing content that moved up to top of the second bottom of the first page in about 1 week. Adsense seems lame and while I can always go back to that later;
1) I don't like my voice being on the internet
2) I want to get $500,000 USD

Journey

I realize that to make big bank on YouTube you need a lot of content that a lot of people are looking for. It took me 8 hours per 15 minute video, I don't want to spend the resources to do that for hundreds of videos.

I plan to use copyrighted materials that people are looking to get a hold of for free along with CPA. This method isn't revolutionary but it works, the main issues as I see it right now. Quality content and massive amounts of it.

We can all find copyrighted material online but the problem is YT content ID and whatever, therefore I have to first figure out a way to bypass YouTube automatic copyright and manual copyright system.

Once that's sorted out, I can then write my own tools to scale up the operation. There's a link in the description that redirects to Google and from 30 views I received 4 clicks.

Troubles

I've already tried uploading different attempts at bypassing YT algorithms. First few attempts I immediately got worldwide blocked.

After worldwide blocks after a while typically 20-30 views I received a manually review block.

Then I received a copyright block for sections [time stamp start to time stamp stop] of the content. That let me know that YT algorithm automatically do some audio reverse engineering such as removing pitching of audio, revebs, etc....

I did some custom manipulation of the audio in these pieces of content the video has been up for about 2 days and it's constantly getting views and no more copyright issues at the moment.

Technique

Since this is copyrighted material competition is very tough, I checked and my 2 day old video is on page 26 but it's still getting clicks and seems to be moving up the ranks because of it.

Once I get past YT automatic algorithms I can mass edit, chop, upload media to build a YT channels with links in the description.

The monetization will go like this:
YouTube description url shortened link -> adfly -> CPA Locker -> zip file with adfly link -> CPA Locker -> Amazon.

leading to amazon in the end might be bit harsh but I don't want to directly link to anything that will actually break coypright laws. Although I could write up a little tutorial to show how they can find what they are looking for online.

quick update

During my testing I received 1 copyright strike but before that I had immediate worldwide ban on the content. Some that made it through the worldwide ban seemed to have been picked up by a manual inspection and was then banned as well. Then later I edited the content some more and that's when I received the copyright strike. All in the progress of learning though.

Earlier today the content that I edited was on page 26 now it's in the middle of page 21, it also received a like.

I do not watch my own content and I do not use bot traffic or anything, I attempt to bypass the copyright algorithms and let the natural SEO skills rank the content. If it continues to rank and link in the description box gets clicked I will be able to scale this up massively and create many channels.

One step at a time
so far 1 video that wasn't disabled but it's alive has 33 views on page 21 and 1 like.

To be honest, It's a hard question to answer because it's contingent on many factors. The main factor being can I fool YT algorithm and even manual review. The second thing that I see being a major problem is directly adding a URL to the description box that leads to adfly and then some locked content. Maybe I'll need to leave a link to a landing page with a video that leads to adfly and then the locker or some mixture like that.

Currently I am doing this by hand, once I've developed a working strategy to pass both manual review and automated content id review then I can progress further. Once the hand crafted refinement is completed. I can write bots to automate this and then scale it to the moon.

Here's my four clicks using goo.gl . They came from Google Chrome on Android and on Windows and they are from The USA which should offer good revenue if the convert.

I would like to have at least 5,000 clicks per day but again the sky is the limit.

I have made money on many different platforms and unfortunately you will never get to $500,000 with this method.

As soon as you start to regularly make decent money, say $10,000 + per month whomever is paying you will assign an account manager to manually audit your account BEFORE they pay you. Any infringement and they won't pay out.

You can stay under the radar and make a few thousand each month. But the only way you will be able to make that sort of money in a reasonable time frame, say 1 year, is to do so with legit content. So to scale to $500,000 you will have to invest in other people creating original content for you.

If you don't have the money to do that now, stay under the radar, make some money and invest your profits. If you do have the money manually create something yourself that works - a feasibility study - and then scale the hell out of it by investing in paying others to do the work.

My content received a few more organic views, up to 38 and it's also moved up the ranks but my video is on a page late in the teens. It is moving up slowly though.

What I will be doing today is flagging my own video. This is a test to see if I can get some manual eyes on it to see if it get any negative reaction from possibly YT staff looking at the content.

How will I flag my video? Well I will go to YT and search for the video, find it in the SERP watching the video and flagging it, now I'll be using TOR which I am sure YT can see but it's what I want to use right now. I'll do this once every couple of hours today. If at the end of today the video is still up and ranking, even if it loses position, as long as it isn't taken down. The next step will be to create a new YT channel, theme it and begin the process of adding more content.

Also another update, I noticed some silo'd content that is ranking extremely well, although this content is all fake. They use decent SEO but the actual visuals and audio is incorrect for what they claim it to be, although the thumbnail is correct.

I will see if I properly silo my content if I can get it to rank equally as well. This is all contingent on 1 day's worth of flagging my own videos and see how that goes.

In short YES. If you start making a serious amount of money and $500,000 falls into that category, no company will hand over huge wads of cash without thoroughly vetting you. They are seeing if there is any excuse to get out of paying you as there are very few people who can actually make serious money online honestly, so they assume you are cheating.

I have made 6 figures plus with lots of online ventures and all third party companies you have to deal with behave the same way, whether it is Amazon, Paypal, ebay, Google or whomever.

Making a lot of money online is only half the battle, actually being able to cash it in is another battle all together.

@GringoMonkey that's understandable and while I will be taking inspiration from copyrighted content I won't actually be breaking copyright law. I come from a mobile video game development, that market is over saturated with major companies 100+ to 1000+ teams making games. Those games take a lot of time to optimize but once they do they are like goldmines and the push a lot of traffic to ad platforms. Just look at the ad revenue games generate, games like crossy road, that flappy bird, etc.... and there are games making millions per day. I get the feeling like people here see 1/2 a million and lose their minds, like setting a stiff goal should be a turn off.

Anyways I look forward to having a personal account manager once they seem fit. Personalized care is always better than just being a part of the herd.

Today I sent a total of 10 different users to flag the content on YT through different TOR node proxies. My content is still up and actually still getting organic views. Here's a screen shot.

Although I received 6 additional organic views no new clicks on my link in the description which is fine. Getting 1 organic like, 4 organic click through on about 44 organic views in an ultra competitive niche seems pretty good to me. After these tests I am more confident to move to the next stage.

Also currently my one piece of content is ranking on YT on or around page 20-21.

What is the next stage?

I will create a brand new YT account get it verified, etc.... I will then theme the channel around this nice, upload 12-16 pieces of YT SEO optimized content in a silo format and let that run for a few days to see where ranking goes, flags, copyright claims, etc.

If all goes well with that step, then I will start writing tools to automate this process and scale it up, while I manually add additional content by hand until the tools are finalized.

A quick google and reddit it seems what that guy doing might be totally in bad spirits but who am I to judge. All I can say is that I wouldn't operate the way he operates because it seems too close to the dirt.

Also people might subscribe to my channel but I am not looking for that, I am going to use pure SEO and work on organic traffic. What gave me the idea was this YT channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsLiV4WJfkTEHH0b9PmRklw

They even have 90k subscribers for a channel with crap on there.

What is interesting to me about this channel is that it is explicit against YT TOS to use tools to upload in a manner that's unreasonable for a human. I've seen many people on this very forum complaining about bans after using tools too aggressively BUT as you can see from this image

They upload multiple videos about 27 minutes ago, that means they can upload at least 3-5 videos per minute without getting in trouble from YT or it could be that YT trust their page since they have over 90k subs and hundreds of videos. Nevertheless it's interesting stuff to look at in any case.

Just did a quick ranking search, manual search from a vpn and my content popped up to page 15. This is pretty awesome the way it's climbing the charts after only two days online. I definitely feel like it's time to go ahead and create a unique channel and create a YT content silo with about 12 pieces of content and see how well those rank. Currently I am not in a big hurry but it is interesting to see how things change and what organic 50% +- 20% retention views can do.

Okay one last update on my previous content. It made it up to 77 organic views and jumped to page 10 in a competitive niche. The video had 1 like but that went away and turned into a dislike. That doesn't bother me so much because likes or dislikes are both counted as engagement in YT algorithms. Here's a screen shot

The most important factor to me was that; even though I had the video flagged about 10 times, it is still up, no copyright complaints, no take down notices etc.... Now It's time to remove this piece of content so that I don't get duplicate content warning. I've manually created 5 new YT accounts today as well as 20 unique pieces of content.

I have 12 different images that I plan to use for thumbnails x 20 unique pieces of content. That's a lot and I do not want to do it by hand. I will upload this first set of videos with 1 set of thumbnails. Once those are uploaded, i will work on a tool to automate the process of altering the content so that every piece of content can't be matched as duplicate and use a different thumbnail to do split testing.

This should setup a neat funnel where I can track who make it all the way from YT to my adfly style links to survey completion and once more through an adfly style link.

OP I think you have good intentions, however you are wasting your time with adfly. There are much better ways to monetise your traffic. Adfly not only pays peanuts (if at all), but they also scream "spam" these days, and you'll likely chase most people away before they even get to your CPA page.

I can appreciate that feedback, what would you say that I do, just send them to the cpa offer? Create a landing page and send them there?

So I just lightly themed a G+ profile and YT page, I decided to push the limits of what I wanted to do. I wanted to only upload 12 pieces of content but I uploaded 20 instead. Out of the 20, 6 had issues with copyright after processing.

What's interesting is that the first two videos have 1 view a piece. It wasn't like that a few minutes ago and I didn't watch the videos. It seems like since this account is really new someone came and looked at these videos manually. I uploaded these videos privately, so they are not public yet.

What I like about the copyright process on YT is that it shows where in the content the actual system flagged you. When I take a look at those areas, it's clear that my automatic tools need some work but that's for the future.

I am going to take this project public and see just how well things go again only with URL tracking and an adfly like service to see. I'll let this test run for a week and update this thread along the way.

After uploading all the content that I created searching the YT SERPS my videos are all around page 10 which is pretty amazing. Still no views but for now I'll go away for a bit and rest my mind. Watching the SERPS is not a good use of my time BUT the good news? 14 videos all hovering around page 10 for their main keyword in an ultra competitive niche!?

Let's see what happens over the coming days.
