Journey to $3000+ a month with Android apps

I'm fairly confident I can. I've already made over $700 from only my clone apps over the past couple months. The attached screenshot is my daily income from all my current reskinned apps.

this thread is awesome man.
Tried picking up python awhile back but heard it can't make Android or iphone apps? What do you best recommend to learn? I have a couple ideas that are nowhere to be found and could be huge hits. Is it better to teach myself or hire someone to do it?

Also, for me the appstore always seems so overwhelmingly filled, that I find it hard to think of an app that wouldn't be a clone of some kind..

This is what i've done so far. Create a google publisher account ($25), buy android source codes from codecanyon for about $15 each, reskin the apps, upload and forget.
How are the results from this method?
I want to say one big "Thanks!", your thread motivates me! For one-two months I was doing nothing and only thinking to do something like you do but never do anything...big laziness and just nothing... Now after I know what you've done I am motivated to finally start, just started to learn some things which I don't know but I need them and then maybe I will start my own journey to stay motivated.

So I just wanted to give another update. Made just over $1500 last month from ads, the last few days of August I started to see $60+ days which I'm really excited about. I'm deading one of my objectives to put all my old apps on all those other app stores, the number of downloads I was seeing just doesn't justify the time investment. Instead I'm going to focus on making new clones.

Hey guys, I'm back with an update on the apps. Things are continuing to pick back up. September was a pretty good month, here's a pic of my AdMob income for the month:
With In App and Paid app purchases I'm well over $2000 for the month of September!
And this month appears to be doing slightly better:
I had one of my highest performing ad days this week which I'm taking as a great sign Hoping to be well over $2000 again this month between ad revenue and In App Purchases.
