Hello fellow members.

Starting this journey because I have been procrastinating for a very long time and its enough now, I will be posting here every Sunday about updates and my plan and see what happens.

I plan to make around $1000/month from this blog by October 7, 2023.

Current Situation:
It is a 2-year-old domain. It has around 18 articles already. The articles are 800+ words.

Things to do this week:
1. I will find 50 keywords by the end of this week.
2. Will update 1 old article each day. I will add a few headings and FAQs to articles that are already ranking.
3. Build some relevant forum links.
4. Add at least 7 articles each week.
5. Request Bing to reindex my site. They deindexed my site last year.
6. Maybe change the theme or do some changes to the existing design to make it load faster.
7. Change ad placement. Currently running auto ads. (Please suggest the best ad placement for a tech site that runs Voice theme.)
8. Maybe get a backlink from my friend's site.

I will be happy to get suggestions from you guys on what to do.

Thanks

Keep the design simple and yea, make it load fast.
You don't want people to go back from your site and open some other result in a short span. Keep them engaged with good content.
Your ranking will only skyrocket if you keep it basic, simple and relevant.

I am using generate press for the theme and the results are pretty impressive

Good luck to you :). From what I've seen tech blogs are quite tricky to get serious traction, especially if you cover a wide range of topics in the tech-niche (of course unless you want to build a super big website).
I suggest you to niche-down and focus on one/few small sub-niches of tech niche only. Such an approach should yield you better results.
