Day 1: After several months of not progressing with my business journey, I felt a spark today to really get serious and start making effort again. Part of me taking this seriously will be using BHW to document my journey and objectively track the real progress that im making, as well as the effort imputing in to really following through.
The first milestone that ill be working towards is scaling an IM venture to the point where it is profitable over the course of a week. In the past i've had a tendency to switch around what I'm working on and trying to progress towards as soon as I hit some form of resistance. I am going to be doing my best to keep that from happening this time around.
To start the first venture I am going to be attempting is going to be drop shipping. This is something that I understand the model of and I think with some creativity, effort, and real strategy I can get it to work this time around. In the past Ive worked on stores that in hindsight needed alot more work, bad websites, bad ad creatives, not exciting products and have been able to make sales with them however never break into the profitable territory.
Strategy: For my first store I will be likely using Shopify to create my website and handle payments and my sales page. I will be creating a one product store and using TikTok to find a under-appreciated product that I see potential to scale as a brand. Next I will order a sample of the product on something like amazon with fast shipping and will use it to create short form video content to put on TikTok. This will act as a way for me to not only grow traction for a brand page but will also allow me to test out ad creative without adspend. ( a TikTok that preforms well organically will convert better inside of TikTok ads).
For the rest of tonight and likely some of tomorow I will be looking for a product that I think has good potential to preform well through Black Friday weekend as this is one of the better weeks for drop shipping stores. I will be attempting to use this as some leverage in order to get a better chance for virality or engagement in my videos and page.
I will update tomorrow with my progress for the day and with my plans for the next day.
