Hey!
This is my journey/case study to building and selling an amazon website for $xx,xxx with meathead's method.
Here's the method I'm talking about: http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/me...on-newbie-friendly-phase-5a-published.832879/
About me:
I am 17 years old, and I have been in the IM business since I was 11 or 12 years old. I used to just earn small pocket money with shitty PTC websites. It was decent enough for me at that time, because I just wanted a little bit of cash to buy games. I found an awesome method that earned me like $40 for 3 hours work or something. I uploaded movies and shared them on websites, and received money per 1000 views. It was easy, but I didn't stay consistent and my account got banned after a few months.
I've tried loads of methods here on BHW, but I've never been consistent enough.
This time I am sure that I will have success, if I stay consistent and expirement. Anyways, let me describe my little journey.
The Journey / Case Study:
I am using the meathead method to build an Amazon website and hopefully sell it later on. This is my first real Amazon website, so it is a bit of a test, and maybe it'll be a disaster, but at least I will learn something.
I have chosen a very competitive niche. The main keyword for one of the products that I'll be advertising has around 50,000 searches a month. There are several different kinds of products for tis niche.
I will be explaining almost everything I do, except my niche and the keywords I use etc. I will probably reveal the niche, if/when I sell the website.
I don't know if I expect to rank for the highly competitive keywords, but it's fine with me, the purpose of this website is not organic traffic, but the traffic that is described in the meathead method.
On-page SEO will be done (keyword research and so on) and I'm gonna mix it with high and low competition keywords.
How do I stay motivated and consisent?
This is the biggest problem of earning money online to be honest. It is really hard to stay motivated, if you never see any results or $$ flowing in. I go to the gym 6 times a week, so I guess you could say I'm "experienced". I watch youtube videos, and it gives me a lot of motivation. I watch a fitness guy who always shares quotes, and whenever he says a motivational quote it motivates me to learn, even though learning can be boring.
How much time will I put into this journey?
I've got summer holiday right now until 11th August or somewhere around that. Plenty of time to put into this website! I expect to use a few hours daily.
What I want to accomplish:
I want to earn at least $20 a day. This is my smallest goal, but it is more than a regular under 18 job here in Denmark. I love IM and it's a dream job for a teenager like me.
I want to earn up to $50 or even a $100 daily. The website will be sold, when the monthly earnings aren't rising anymore. Hopefully it'll sell for at least $10k.
!!! All of this is a work in progress, some of the stuff may be changed later on and explained in replies to this thread. The journey might be disbanded if I lose all of my interest, but I'll make sure to update you if it happens !!!
I'll update it daily/weekly depending on when I work on it.
