first post, occasional lurker, hope not to cock it up...
So I’ve been running jarvee for a year on a free amazon web server only reposting, didn’t want to get into like/unlike and follow/unfollow, just reposting. For the last year, we’ve used the same hashtags in every post never had an issue, and this was for 50-70 reposts a day (we have a sort of classifieds page, where we repost people’s items for sale).
Then all of a sudden, just like everyone else, shit hit the fan. Anyway, our reposts came up with blank captions all of a sudden.
Now I reset the device ID, that worked for one or two reposts, then captions started coming in blank again. All of our hashtags are relevant, we get tagged in a lot of posts, we reply to dm’s, etc.
That said, I am guessing the free AWS may very well be the culprit here, correct? Probably marked down as a spam server?
I would like to think I understand the basics of proxies, etc, and how to set it up; however, if I can run it off my home network, and home PC, would that resolve the IP address issue and being marked as spam? Essentially trying to see if I can save some money in lieu of obtaining a residential or mobile proxy. I would venture to guess it may, but looking for some insight into that from the more experienced users.
In the past, I’d read that reposting was simply ignored as a function by IG, in general terms. This kind of caught me off guard.
