There's definitely a demand for software like this, but it will likely be a pain in the ass to get it to market quality and also maintaining. I have experience programming and thought about doing the same, but felt like it would be more of a headache than anything else.

I don't plan on releasing it as it would be just too difficult to maintain. I also don't want Instagram to change my system and make it harder to make the accounts.

I think that's what I'll end up doing. I think I'm going to set up a system that moves the accounts in to Mass Planner and warms them up.
Ya that would probably be what id do. keep the bot running 24/7 and get yourself a nice pile of accounts. Maybe track down someone on the forum who can do PV cheaply?
If you have 160 working accounts maybe program up something to make them like 1-2 posts a day or post generic messages (ex: that picture is awesome). Just something to give them a bit of legitamacy. If you can find away to get 1000+ friends, per account, i bet you could sale them for a higher price.
I'm going to hook the bot in to Mass Planner so that the accounts get warmed up on private proxies. These accounts will be worth much more when I come to sell them
$0.05 would be a fair price for a new account. You could let them age and the price would go up. Check other sellers and their prices.
That sounds good to me. If I can churn out 120 an hour thats $6/hour.
Looks like you have made some amazing account creation bot. Since those are none verified might not last long if you plan to age them without filling the profile etc. I had dozen accounts like that and found all deleted after 3 months.
BTW if you don't mind send me several accounts to me. I would like to test these and see how long these will last. Also what kinda proxies did you use and how many accounts per proxy did you make ?
I'm going to change up how the accounts are made and refine the script a bit. Hopefully the accounts it make will last longer.
I can give you a CSV with 10 accounts in it if you want to try them out. I can't promise they are still alive or will work without a PVA though.

1) Temp email - what if we can submit a list of emails and passwords
2) IP address - submit a list of proxy

I'm not planning to sell at the moment but I am planning on setting up a UI where I can specify proxies.
I'm going to be adding in an email account creator which a captcha solving service so hopefully the software will create email accounts too.
The temp-email API needs to be changed to a popular non-temp email one. If you create too many accounts from a fairly obscure email service and you start to use the accounts and instagram will start to disable them, they will notice the pattern, they will simply blacklist the temp email service and ban all the accounts, which were already created from it. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but those accounts will be short-lived like this. Creating accs from disposable email services is a death sentence.
I can confirm this, I was doing the same and ALL accounts got banned at once. When that happened I had more than 500 accounts.
Temp-mail is not reliable, I have used it in past for facebook but they all got blocked. And now whenever i create an account with temp-mail it just gets blocked right away.

Use a catchall domain and rotate domains every few hours and reuse same domains the next day. For ex - use 6 domains , 4-4 hr each , rinse n repeat everyday
I'd rather not use a custom domain because I don't want to accounts to be linked together by email address. I think I'll use a public service like Yandex or Hotmail.
that would be what I'd do but on a much bigger scale. There's a little known method where you can easily get several thousand unique domains for free and turn them into mail servers.
Then go find a data dump from one of the thousands of big hacks over the years and use its email data to make very human like email addresses.
with POP3 you could easily go through the emails and extract the activation links.
even with a success rate of only 120/600 you could really crank out some accounts
