I recently started Podcasting, as another added piece of value, to my blog. When I started Podcasting, I couldn't help but to notice how much pull iTunes had in the Podcasting industry, so therefor I couldn't help but to try and get my Podcast added to the iTunes store.
I began by writing a Tutorial, teaching my readers how to start Podcasting, by providing all of the information that I received through 13 hours of in-depth research (this past sunday).
I submitted my podcast feed to iTunes for approval and believe it or not, I was approved. This was the very first Podcast I'd have ever created. I just received an email from iTunes, letting me know that I was approved, and the link that they provided me with in the email is as follows: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/gregory-smiths-search-engine/id639389932
When I reviewed that link, I was surprised to find that, I also received a link pointing to my site. Talk about a high quality link tier! Suppose I'll have to create yet another tiered link building tutorial
maybe i'll name this one -- iTunes Link Tier Tutorial or something like that!
Just wanted to show you guys how I did this. If you follow the links or ask questions, you'll then be able to rinse and repeat my very strategy, before it's even released to the public.
I haven't had time to check if or not iTunes is d - follow or... n - follow... Really doesn't even matter. Thought it was a very cool link building share. hope you guys can enjoy it as much, if not mare than I have!
