I'm having a old website on wix but not using it. I'm thinking to start a blog on it, What are your thoughts
is WIX good platform for blogging?

How old is your Wix website? If that is very old then its URLs must have got crawled and have age. If they are too many then it wont be a good idea to migrate to Wordpress because Wix is also a nice platform for blogging. You can enhance your blog to ecommerce shop if you want in future.

Thanks for the suggestion, it is 3 year old website, No I'm not thinking to migrate to WordPress, I want to use wix only.

Only one homepage with 15 Services, it was like a store. I left it long ago not working on it. Now thinking to start a blog on it

Yes, WIX is good.
I like your idea, just do regular update then your site will have good ranking within 2-3 months. Then just put affiliate link or google adsense then keep update regularly. Within 6 month, you will have around 500 visitors daily from search engine. I think it's good enough for generate income around $100-300 monthly with affiliate

So there are mostly 16 pages right? That's not too much. If you do not want to start blogging with it then sticking with Wix would be strongly preferred. It is a good platform for running a storefront.

Yes, Wix is a good to start if you are comfortable with it.

Wix can be a good platform to blog on, especially if you already have an old website on it. However, it may not have as many features and customization options as other dedicated blogging platforms like WordPress. It ultimately depends on your needs and preferences as a blogger.

Thanks to my BHW Community for the answers, So far as per the output in general WIX is good for starting a blog but In future if I want to make my blog as business then I have to switch to WordPress. Will start with WIX and will switch to WordPress in future if the blog works well

Until it's your own blob it's OK.
For monetization I would not recommend.

I wouldn't use it given that there are way better alternatives. But it's also not gonna stop you from having success, if the content is good and you manage to get traffic to it.
