Hi guys o_O

I've been translating content from Greek to English and used it as original content for guest posts.

I am wondering though, Is translated content considered plagiarized in Google's eyes?

If you use automatic translation you'll need to adjust the content anyway in order to make it readable (especially if you plan to use it for guest posting).

Spend a few more minutes on the content an make it unique by modifying the sentences, then use a plagiarism checker tool (up to 1.000 words there are some which are free online) to make sure it is actually unique.

You won't get the best piece of content ever, but it may be worthing for your purpose.

As above said, there is no problem using translated content from google's point of view. But technically speaking you have to work on those translated content before using.

Google and its users always love fresh content, So it is not a big deal to spend a few $$ for the new content.
 
It's not clear to what extent it could be considered. If you do this with deepl for example, it won't affect you. But be aware that this is not a newfangled technique, so you content could look very similar to other already translated content. So generally as some have suggested, use a plagiarism checker and be prepared in case you face a DCMA request in a site that is already giving you money.
 
I translated English content into another language and pretty much ranked first page as soon as the site indexed. I don't think they can tell.

And fun fact: Didn't need to do ANY editing, the translation was pretty much flawless. (Depends on the language though I'm assuming)
 
If the content is readable and passed plagiarism checker, then it will not be considered duplicate. I suggest you to not use automatic translate, it provides only low quality content and it is easily traceable. But the issue is, if the site owner founds out, You have to face DMCA. So translate it, modify it and make it undetectable and quality content.
 
Before using translating content for gust post you check through plagiarism checker if content is unique is no problem otherwise it will be copyright act.
 
Another thing I forgot to mention is that you can translate the content to, for example, Spanish to Danish to German and then to English (or whatever your target language is). This way it will be "heavily spun", but might need extra editing.

Another tip is to mix a 2-3 different articles into one, to diversify a bit extra. Good luck!
 
Good question. I've been doing this in mass scale for my website and no it is not.
