Here's some stats on a domain I'm looking at for my tier one domains.

    1. In my money site niche

    Moz:

    1. Moz DA - 23
    2. Moz PA - 32
    3. Moz Spam Score - 5

    Ahrefs:

    1. UR - 14
    2. DR - 39
    3. Backlinks - 18k
    > 10k from different blogspot blogs - old blogs with lots of content
    4. Referring domains - 246

Looks weak because of the spam score of 5 and the 18k back links.

Is there any other info you would suggest?

Love to get some good advice!

    Auctioned or Expired?

Is it a blogger type of site? ex. mommy blog. I have a bunch of domains that is niche related and blogger type on my PIN properties(DIY, Craft, beauty and parenting) and they work really well and I prefer those kind of sites since they have heaps of free articles and branding ( you can easily recreate the site and it may not look like a PBN at all ). They tend to have higher spam score ( probably of the blogspot links ) but they are clean. Here's a mommy blog site Ive recently recreated and it started to pick up lots of traffic from google.

Note: it has 4 spam score below.

If that domain is scraped, then it surely isn't clean with that RD. Nobody can tell for sure whether that domain is okay. We see just the metrics. 98% domains with nice metrics are basically penalized, spammed or straightforward shit. Ahrefs loves to index shitty blogspots for some reason.

Shoot me the domain via PM if you want, I can take a look at it sometimes today.

Metrics don't really mean much if your domain has a spammy history.

Instead of relying on some "spam score", do the actual spam check yourself so you're 100% sure it's clean. Moz are pretty poor when it comes to spam scores.
